Whatever happened to sovereignty and freedom from Brussels rule-taking? Would a brexiteer just like to run those arguments through again? After all it has been a matter of life and death to them for 4 years? Jettisoned by Johnson for his day in the sun, in a matter of hours. Thank you brexiteers for our increased 'control' and 'sovereignty' which you have actually conceded to the EU. Detail was never your thing, was it? I mean it wasn't written on the side of a bus in huge lettering.
Weird isn't it we have reached a mutual accomodation with our EU neighbours that most Brexiteers are happy or at least not unhappy with. The Remoaners as opposed to Remainers are aghast that they thing they predicted would never happen has. We didn't get everything we wanted neither did the other side but I predict there will be further deals in the coming years.

The single market was actually Thatcher's great achievement she saw at once the country's access to a huge market and it has brought the UK prosperity. That is why Johnson was so desperate to get his deal. It won't be anything like it is now, with tariffs (it is not tariff-free as stated) and regulation the UK will be gradually strangled and lose it's competitiveness. Financial services, not trade, provide 80% of the UK's income, there is nothing for the UK in this deal at all, in fact the access to the EU is restricted. All pain for no gain. Pointless trying to explain it to you Steeleye.

So you were unable to run the questions over sovereignty and Brussels rule-taking again. How surprising after 4 years of them bring the only things that matter in life. So you are moving on to 'defunding the BBC'. Good news, with you doing it, they will be coining it in.

Next week when Parliament meets no doubt there will be some objections let's see what comes out of the ERG review.

Boris Johnson admits Brexit deal falls short for financial services. Well nothing to worry about, financial services only account for 80% of our income.
