I wondered whether to put this in the BBC thread.

Refreshingly Sun-like of the BBC to use a photo of a couple of fit birds in Ukrainian football shirts to shamelessly publicise a football match.

No doubt also giving rise to a surge in applications to provide refuge to single women refugees

A singularly predictable and pathetic male response to the issue.

I'm still waiting for an application reply....do these birds want a roof over their bonce or what?

This is not just about Ukraine and Russia. These is no replacement for that amount of oil in the European economy so this is effectively economic suicide for Europe. Instead of accepting responsibility they will just blame Putin for all of their economic policy failures.

It is a policy that makes little to no sense. Firstly, it just pushes up the oil price, thereby making Russia even richer, and secondly, Russia can either...

A : Sell the oil else where.
B : Sell the oil to a third party in turn sells it to the West.

Achieves less than zero.

My only thinking on this, and happy to have this torn to shreds, is that I wonder if this is a way Governments might seek to remove the underlying inflationary issues out of their economies (I know fuel increases will show up but ultimately it could take the heat out of other spending) along with offering a way of raising taxes without having to do so via the conventional methods?

And as you say, all with the cover of blaming Putin for it.

However, merely me thinking out loud so more than pleased to be put right on that.

I think it’s deliberate especially when you see the policies that have been enacted beside this like closing down power stations, gas storage facilities, incentivising farmers to turn arable land into “rewilding” and paying farmers to retire early. Similar things happening all over the west and to many to be coincidental. It’s a controlled demolition of the economy and supply chains as the current financial system has nowhere to go and the people currently in charge will wash their hands of responsibility and offer you the solution which is am entirely new financial system with much stricter control over you.

I will respond to your disfigurements and delusions as and when I can be bothered.

That won't be at all then. You cannot respond to things that don't exist.

I frequently don't bother with your more outrageous posts. When nonsense speaks for itself, it needs no words to point it out.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

I think that means most will hope you continue to view me as ever more outrageous then.

From early 2020 huge numbers of senior medical professionals (doctors, epidemiologists, virologists and professors) were on to the fraud straight away but the media and big tech stood in their way. Clear evidence to show this fraud was out in the public domain. Whether that was the inadequate and gamable PCR tests, the clearly low infection fatality rate or the Chinese scare videos (or the clear overreaction to this) there were untold warning signs of what was going on. A channel 4 video even emerged proving that the exact same thing had been tried with Swine flu a decade before (a pandemic declared triggering big pharma vaccine “contracts”)

Now we finally have the likes of Mark Styne on GB news (apparently now being investigated by OFCOM) bringing on the Widows of people that have died from these vaccines, people that have been maimed from them and the clear evidence that the vaccinated have worse fatality rates than the unvaccinated. Other news outlets are trying to ease out this information without causing alarm or double down and try to link these deaths and illnesses to climate change or “long COVID”.

What had this got to do with Ukraine? Again, it’s well documented that the financial system was about to collapse in 2019 via reverse repo meltdown but a pandemic was declared in order to create an excuse to create huge amounts of new fiat money to delay the inevitable. By early 2022 the COVID lie (two weeks to flatten the curve) had been extended by two years, people had had enough of “boosters” and the truth was finally trickling out but inflation was now telling the story of the end of this financial system. However this war was engineered it came at exactly the right moment to extend the money printing and served as another huge distraction and ultimately cover for the coming severe shortages that were already in the pipeline due to the collapse of the supply chain. It’s not going to be pretty.

We continue to see escalation with Biden now sending the Ukraine more heavier equipment and yet more taxpayer money.

All amid reports I'm hearing that Russia are preparing to reopen the northern front.

Whilst I have some issues with what W12 has posted, the question still remains about the rationale of imposing sanctions that causes your 'enemy' to become richer and your own people poorer?

Are the politicians deciding on this just very, very stupid? Or very, very sinister? Because I am struggling to come up with any kind of other way of dividing them.
