Melvyn Bragg weighs in on the working class. I agree with him I grew up on a run down council estate that was eventually demolished however the residents were good people we had no crime or trouble. It seems the only way white working class people are portrayed today is if they are "troubled" or victims or racist perps. I suspect the majority of you have similar stories to mine. We didn't have it easy but we worked hard and made a go of it.

Keep an eye out for the Scandinavian teams or, my personal favourites, the Belgians.

At last night's Television and Radio Industries awards bash, Nigel Farage won best news presenter, Julia Hartley-Brewer won best radio programme and GB News won best multi-channel news programme. Not a word about it on the BBC! These awards are based on the public voting - yet another gainsay to the idea that the majority are now Woke.

Very pleased that GB News won some awards. Sponsors that refuse to touch them will be furious. Meanwhile, Sky Sports News are still telling us that there aren't enough Black managers and the BBC2 are showing 40-year-old episodes of Lenny Henry. It's hard not to find this stuff funny, but we should be angry that the mainstream media are only concerned with promoting 'minority' interests and usually only one minority, unless it's cricket.

What percentage of people do you think; a) are aware of the existence of the Teleivsion and Radio Industries awards? b) Voted for the winners?

For the first time, this year's awards were based entirely on the public vote. 130,000 people voted for 17 categories (1.3 million votes in total).

So 0.19% of the population voted... Because the whole population usually votes on awards? What about the General election? Will you only allow the result if 100% vote? You are a typical Lefty. You can't stand it when people rattle your self righteous delusions of virtue and intellect by having the audacity to disagree.
