Has anyone seen Wilf sulking? I haven't. Has he actually said he wants to leave and he wants to go to ArseAnal?..not heard that from him either. Seems to me that Wilf wasn't too happy about his brother's comments Looking forward to seeing Wilf in the red and blue for years to come and Mr.Parish and co.flashing the cash on someone who knows how to stick the ball in the bloody net..Morelos for me, and a decent replacement for AWB. Love your enthusiasm but as a Palace fan it’s the kind you lose before full beard growth. There’s going to be some real tests and rocky periods on the way. How and what we’ll find out. It’s always a challenge on how long you stay in the Prem and we’ve done it spending a lot more than we really should have. Let’s see how we come through the balancingvof finances and inevitable sales of players, especially as we have little to no money to buy anyone.

Wilf could have ended all this speculation by coming out and saying that he is happy at Palace and wants to stay here but you may have noticed that he hasn't

If a club is offering substantially less than our valuation of him, then I would expect even Wilf to be wary of their offer, no matter how much he wants Championship football, because if they don't value him that highly, what does his future there hold? Champions league football or warming the bench? He will be better off staying with us then!!

Champions league football or warming the bench? Good point. It's like making a half hearted marriage proposal. If Arsenal want him that much they need to show him that he will be a key player, if they are not prepared to move closer to our valuation that sends a bad signal to him that maybe they see him as a squad player. At the moment my perception, which seems to be backed up by Arsenal fans not renewing season tickets, is that they lack ambition. Hardly a ringing endorsement for a player looking to win things. Update And speaking of lack of ambition, if Arsenal are the half hearted suitor then we are the partner who forgets his wedding anniversary. If we want Wilf to stay we have to show him some signings. Arsenal: Unai Emery says Gunners trying to sign 'very big, very expensive players' BBC Hmm It's Neil Ruddock. They are going to offer £200k a week to fund his McDonnalds habit. Arsenal may be trying to sign an expensive player, but when you haven't got the money it's not going to happen. At the moment they dont have enough for Tierney, and Koscielny wants to leave.

Do you mean expansive? No, if they wanted expansive they'd go for Tomas Brolin

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle What is likely is the following: At the end of last season Parish sat with Wilf and said to him that if someone came in with the right offer he would let him go, but he won't accept less. Wilf agreed. So Wilf is watching but isn't going to force Parish's hand, as he knows how good Steve has been to him over the years. No one has come in with anything close to an acceptable offer, so Wilf will remain at Palace. ManU's 25% sell on clause makes anything less than 80 million unacceptable. Also, given the timeline (3 weeks away from transfer deadline), I doubt whether DF has been looking at ways to spend another 60 million (in addition to AWB's 45 million). So it's highly unlikely that Palace will let him go. Realistically it was only Arsenal and Chelsea which were going to spend for him, and Chelsea is banned. Arsenal simply won't spend that amount.

Hmmmm Lol, a few delusional Everton fans must think that because Arsenal are apparently signing their winger for 30 million they will get Wilf.
