Did very well at Villarreal, got them to third and semi finals of champions league. Went on to do well at Malaga as well, record breaking season etc.

I'm astonished at how keen some posters are on the idea of Pellegrini (instead of Pellegrino). I'd far rather have an ambitious, young manager who can grow with us rather than a 'big name' who is likely to think that he's bigger than the club. We need a manager who's right for Palace and, although I may be doing him a disservice, I can't see Pellegrini as someone who would fit in at all.
