Very poor debating skills Hoof. Very poor.

To think you had the gall to call me thick a while back only to say last week that my language use was too advanced for you!

Do you spin stuff around that your kids say too?

You are thick - you have no mathematical ability as evidenced by your failure to understand the workings of a pension scheme, a poor memory constantly misquoting other posters and have rubbish debating skills.

The language you use is not too advanced for the infants you used to "teach" before you quit because of the stress let alone grown ups.

You are getting a pasting on here as always, but hey convince yourself you are winning in true Corbyn style.

Loser.

The last satirical pic I posted also included a believe what you read in the papers type swipe. That must have gorn over your head.

You do seem to be getting a little het up by this Stuk. i'd leave it if I were you, stressing ain't good for the old ticker is it?

In conclusion, if you don't like it, ignore me. Or argue against the point I am making.

It's particularly relevent when Philip Hammond proposed something yesterday that was almost verbatim what ed balls said a couple of years ago.
The press are saying what a wonderful idea it is of Philip Hammond's yet with ed balls up he was castigated for it. double standards that you seem blind to. Still gusset brought it up so we'll dismiss it as propaganda.

Christ on a bike, Hrolf even went as far to say that I was being asked by the labour party to post what I do.

you couldn't make it up.

Grow up.

You over estimate yourself massively. You're not intelligent, you're not savvy, you don't ever make a point. You post mountains of s***, in threads you constantly regurgitate to make it look like they're popular or relevant.

If you think anyone, particularly the government, are influenced by anything that comes out of that bearded dickhead's mouth, or by Ed Balls then you're more deluded than previously stated.

Optimistic as ever

He'll probably type "Christ on a bike" again in response to this.... but the inactivity since my last post suggests he's on to his union mentors for guidance on how to stem the flow of abuse he's getting from me, you and Hrolf this afternoon.

EDIT; They've told him to accuse me of being stroppy!

Wow I'll have to up my game!

Saying Hammond's speech was almost the same as Ed Balls a few years ago isn't making a point? Perhaps in Stuks world.

Like I said, if it upsets you that much, ignore it. it's a dsicussion forum, or would you prefer people to only post opinions you agree with?

The way you are playing the man makes it seemthat you don't have an argument against it.

That said, if I said that the earth orbits the sun you would contend it because I posted it.

Allah on a pedalo!

The other day you said you were on here to 'haunt me' now you are admitting to online abuse. hardly the form of poster of the year to go against forum rules is it?

P.S sorry it's taken me around 11 minutes to respond, I'll let my daughter wait at the school gates for me next time!

This thread is becoming decidely unpleasant and some cards don't seem far away.

On the above, I am not sure Nick did say they had been influenced by Balls. But he is right to point out that there are similarities between New Labour spending policies, which at the time were decried by the Tories as more "tax and spend" or "fueled by debt", and the policies Hammond has espoused in the last few days.

Whether that is because they have been influenced by Balls/Brown/Corbyn or whether it is because they've decided Keynsian spending was the solution all along, who knows.

Learn to read and stop posting the same crap time and again.

Just stop copying and pasting s***, no one wants to see it. You know this.

Stop acting like a tart as well with your "playing the man". Another standard w***y gusset phrase.

You've never posted anything that interesting or factual. Try it now and again.

Sadly all too true. While I think the welfare state (and the NHS) are probably amongst the greatest things in Britain today, there are always those who will abuse the system.

Perhaps some sort of Chinese style 3 child cap (in terms of support, that is) is required- i.e. you get child benefits etc for the first 3, but after that you pay for them yourselves.

There is a strong argument for the welfare state being 'tightened up' around the edges- unfortunately, Labour are never interested, and the Tories just want to cut the whole thing.

And no government is strong enough to really look at and reform the biggest welfare drain- state pensions. I get the argument that 'people have paid in for 40 years and should get the benefits'- but I'm currently 30+ years away from state pension age and will probably end up paying in for 45-50 years thanks to later pension ages. Shouldn't I get the benefit too?

Whereas probable situation is, I won't be able to claim state pension until I'm 70 (or even later) and will probably end up with less in real terms than todays pensioners.

I have paid my contributions for decades too and demand I get whatever benefit is available whether I am working/sick or not. Moreover, I pay my house and car insurance for years and now thing it is time they sent me a big fat cheque.

Seriously, this is the biggest case of mission creep in the last half century. The reason we pay national INSURANCE (note that word) is to provide a safety net. If I reach retirement age and I have not provided sufficient funding to achieve a threshold income, the state should subsidise me based on a means test. If another is "earning" £40k a year from a well stocked pension fund, they shouldn't get a bean; nor should they be entitled to any of the other fringe benefits of age like free buses and prescriptions.

Trouble is there is no party that would risk the wrath of the elderly who represent the sizeable chunk of the voting population - especially for the current party in charge. The reason pensions are triple-locked is not because pensioners are vulnerable or have contributed their stamps etc. - when did that ever matter with welfare policy? It is because to reduce the burden on those in employment by making the pension system fair would be political suicide.

Was Hammond's speech similar to Balls? I think yes. If you want to counter this, do so. If not then leave it.
