Whatever happened to UKIP being a single issue party? Why are they getting involved in areas they know absolutely nothing about just like proper politicians from the main parties? Methinks their manifesto is a fairytale and they wouldn't have a clue what to do with it if in some sort of power. A party of blinkered idiots. Same with the Greens. Back when they advocated turning lights off when you weren't in the room and not leaving all your hobs turned on when you left the kids at home on their own they were quite inoffensive and even made me consider eating a bit of cabbage now and then. These days they are dabbling in fantasy with all their other fanciful ideas.

Nigel Farage, independently educated former investment banker who recieved a million pounds today from millionaire press baron and p***. entrepreneur Richard Desmond says he stands up for working people. You couldn't make it up!
Let's look at 'credible' TUSC, supported by Trade Union GS's, all earning top bracket tax rate salaries and supporting the working class. You couldn't make it up! Gusset grasping for any little piece of mud he can sling at UKIP because he has lost the argument against their policies. That is the truth and not made up.
Edited by nickgusset (17 Apr 2015 7.27am) Please define what you mean by 'worker'? To me, it is a term that is bandied about by left and I do not understand what it means in the post-post modern World. Thanks.

When are the Labour voters on this thread going to have the "balls" (excuse the pun) to admit it on here. According to this thread none of you lefties are voting Labour as they are too far right. Why are they polling so high then?

On sites aggregating all polling data, it's pretty much dead level. If anything Labour are in a slightly better position than a couple of weeks back. Not much polling is done on constituency level though so they could be out by quite a bit.

Don't see that anyone on here has any particular reason to lie about their political allegiance. Any more than they would in the polling. But I'm not a natural Labour voter. My missus will vote Labour as it goes. But then she has never voted for anyone else (and grew up in South Wales so doing anything else used to get your Welsh nationality and free leek revoked). Most people in the South East (and the CPFC catchment area) live in relatively stable Tory constituencies. Most are likely to be Tory supporters. And those that aren't are likely to live in relative Tory strongholds which means voting for any party becomes a possibility (as tactical voting is less important).

Why are they polling so high then? Because other people are voting for them. Me, I'm looking at probably voting Green or for a socialist candidate or group if one stands in my constituency.

So UKIP aren't allowed to have thoughts on issues other than the EU but the Greens, because they suit your thinking, are allowed despite them being started as a single issue environmental party? Interesting, Michael...

Why are they polling so high then? I'd imagine that Labour are polling so high despite their lack of left-wing policies due to everybody being sick to death of the tories and their failed austerity policies. NB: I won't be voting for any of the parties due to them all being a joke.
