It coincided with the beginning of a general relaxation of the strict application of the rules and in some places, where resources were very stretched I can believe that redeployment wasn’t a practical option if services were to be maintained. Pragmatism being generally preferable to disaster.

Basically they finally followed the science after being called out on thier draconian measures on live TV.

When the day dawns that you understand what “follow the science” actually means, let alone following it yourself, rather than your own selfishness, I will be prepared to take that comment seriously.

Until then I will call it what it surely is. BS.

Another good time to show the video about the doctor explaining the science and why the mandates went against the science.

Do let me know the fault in the science explained to the health minister when you find it.

Are you trying to infer this is connected to Covid in some way?

Sudden unexplained deaths have unfortunately always happened. I remember a very promising 15 year old footballer at my school collapsing and dying during a game.

Must have engaged him in a long lengthy conversation.

The Corn-vid jabber got him.

Probably just a coincidence WE that so many younger people are suffering and dying from strokes and heart attacks in the past couple of years.

There’s always an investigation into a sudden, unexplained death. It’s called an inquest.

It’s not a coincidence that the downward trend has reversed. There is more research into the impact of the pandemic in the USA than here but this is useful:-

It seems that the impact of all respiratory illness on these issues can be quite negative so with the surge of Covid it can be understood. That and the sedentary life style that accompanied working from home.

Just to reassure people not one of the analyses I read mentioned the vaccines as a possible contributing factor. So get your vaccinations up to date and avoid severe Covid infections.
