If we don’t get rid of Roy after that shambles then we never will. Goals on the 1st min of the 1st and 2nd half suggests the manager has completely lost the respect of the changing room and any ability to motivate the team.

Brighton needs to see if our players want him to go.

If the manager can't take control of transfers or team talks himself and still plays an outdated system, it's obvious who isn't up to the rigours of the PL.

I suppose one could argue that we had a number of players missing through injury including Zaha,Tomkins and Schlupp and with them in the side today it might have been a completely different game. Dann was selected but he was really found wanting and he is just not up to PL standard any more. We have suffered 2 abject defeats with disgraceful performances, both without Zaha, but prior to them we had back-to-back victories against Wolves and Newcastle. Of course the manager carries the can but he can only select players who are fit and he is working with a 'Dad's Army' squad who lack energy, mobility and pace. Some of course will opine that he should have selected different players and played with a different shape. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse we get a performance like that. This season is going to get very ugly and the way we're playing I can only see us getting 4 points from Brighton, Fulham, WBA and Sheff Utd. Its gonna be squeaky bum time right to the end. Roy doesn't look like he's got a clue at the moment, its time for him to throw the towel in. Don't really like Howe mainly because his Bournemouth sides have always given us such a hard time, but he's available...mind you he probably wont fancy it and who'd blame him looking at us lot at the moment.

I feel the time is ripe to move Roy on, it will be toxic next year if we have a bad start, assuming we are in the premiership, if we appoint a new man now, gives him time to assess players before buying in the summer

There were a few infuriating decisions today: Andros came on against Leeds and we improved, so why did he start on the bench again? (only to come on and finally add some energy to the team again). Why start with the two Belgians up top, neither who are up to the physicality of Burnley and neither who really works very hard (Mateta looked more of a threat in 15 minutes); why doesn't someone tell PvA he is a left back at Palace, not a left winger at Man Utd? Why does Dann keep getting picked when he is about as slow as Hodgson? Yes injuries were a big factor today, but the way we set up and some of the selections were just wrong and we all saw it before a ball was kicked, so why didn't Roy? The players looked downtrodden and lacking direction. I want Roy to be able to see out his contract, but f**k me he's making it hard to support that. When you make Burnley look like Barcelona you know you're in trouble. If we can get Zaha, Tomkins, Schlupp and McArthur back that will make a big difference and Roy will probably get us across the line comfortably, but after the last two games you can't help but start wondering where our next point will come from (especially without Wilf).

Seeing that today ,reminded me of , Bournemouth, losing to us last season. They just had no ideas no pace or application. And neither did Palace today.
