I struggle to be sociable with any British people who supported a second referendum because they are so stupid I struggle to even understand how they remember to breathe. Absolutely zero problem with anybody who voted Remain on June 23rd 2016 and respect that they turned up to cast a vote. But anybody who sort to have that result rendered null and void? Nah. I despise them on a visceral level. I must have culled dozens of people from social media with the few I still converse with having been friends on a different level that makes it much more difficult for me to cut ties. Perhaps when January 1st comes and goes and we are finally free from the shackles then I might be able to mend fences but with many of them I suspect it is not possible. Brexit really did come with a cost but I lay that all at the feet of those who sort to have the outcome of perhaps the single greatest exercises in the democratic process in the modern era scuppered. Shame on them forever.

Wasn’t the CBI one of the Organizations that warned that, if we voted to leave, the sky would immediately fall in, along with that idiot Carney Yup. Just as they did on us joining the Euro, to name but one example of where you should do the exact opposite of what the CBI suggest you do.

The best solution is simply to extend the present transition in view of the strain imposed by the pandemic. That should avoid food shortages and price hikes and all the border lorry absurdities. The politics has been done, the UK left early this year. But that is only an interruption to the the UKs paranoia, it is hard to see how it will cease. In 15 years time the tories will still be tearing the country, and themselves, apart over Europe. In fact leaving the EU, as we can see here, just makes our lost generation even more paranoid, not less.

It's Canada plus and would be oven ready if the EU accepted it. However they haven't so we now go with no deal and tell their fishermen to keep out of our waters.

I also have an oven ready deal for me to play up front for Palace next season on 100k a week. Only thing I need now is for Steve Parish to stop being so stubborn and sign it. The EU will probably ignore the UKs fishing limits, as Russia already does. No alternative, we will have to use Trident, subject to the availability of the crew.
