Don’t be surprised if Clyne on a short term deal is our only signing in this window - Parish /Freedman have a track record of constantly disappointing - I will be delighted if I am proved wrong and have to eat humble pie

More than 50 years a fan, you’d think I should have learned about Palace and transfer windows.
I’d hoped for Brewster or another young striker, Behnrama , Bright Samuel and a young midfielder.
Instead we’re likely to just add Clyne on a 3 month deal.
Ferguson shows no sign of playing and I suspect that Roy will play Schlupp over Eze and Ayew over Batshuayi fitness permitting.
This would mean the first team would contain no new signings, although the squad would be slightly stronger.
I know there are financial constraints but still find it disappointing that further refreshment of the aging squad.

Here are all the West Ham transfer rumours. Thought I'd post them, as they are always the same as ours. I presume it's cheaper to share a scouting department.

You know there will be loads of p'eed off HOL'ers who failed to read this post and the knashing of teeth, wringing of hands will be amusing, dont you think.

No I excluded Innis from my calculations. the current 25 are:

3 keepers
8 defenders namely, Ward, Cahill, Tomkins, Kelly, Dann, Sakho, Woods (who's 22) PvA
9 midfielders (as classified on the club website), namely, Kouyate, Milivojevic, McArthur, McCarthy, Riederwald, Meyer, Eze, Schlupp, Townsend
5 forwards, namely, Zaha, Ayew, Batshuayi, Benteke and Wickham
Total = 25. If Clyne and/or others over 21 as at 1 Jan 20 join us then one or more of the above will have to be dropped from the squad or offloaded somehow by Friday 5.00pm

Why would we want Woods in the squad? Or Wickham for that matter.

Take them out and we have room for two. Room for any more and we would end up short because there is no way we are going to sign more than two. Maybe Clyne will be the only incoming with Woods leaving on loan I expect.

This is why I object to people claiming they are itk when they are not, merely passing on information they have read online, 95% of it is rubbish.

I am mates with someone, can't say much more, but Brewster was always going to Sheffield United, I did post before hand, and Benhrama to West Ham, posted 2 weeks ago, will be done Friday.

So when you get people claiming that we will be signing these 2 in the next couple of weeks, which I know is untrue, makes peoples expectations of what the club will sign, unrealistic.

All these people are reading is absolute garbage online, and claiming they have sources, its nonsense, they don't, I don't, I question who I know, he says we were never interested in certain players, I believe him, but have to then read on here, mark my words these 2 players will sign in the next 2 weeks.

Let's hope he proves himself, I'm dubious, but open to his return.

very good news, I have come to the conclusion that we will have to wait until the wages bill reduces drastically after this season before any more signings

Interesting that they quote "short term deal" and "help for the upcoming period"

All suggests he has signed for less than 12 months either way.

Bit harsh, know what you mean though, then again he could be so good in training, Roy has a decision to make.
