he's had at least 3 meetings with the club. Must be a weird dynamic knowing that you're not really anywhere near first choice, but the club may be coming after you. There's no hiding from the fact that he's a real step down from NES and Favre and it's tough to have to adjust your expectations so low. Maybe there's one more rabbit that Parish can pull out of the hat that we can actually get over the line, before we have to bite the bullet and accept someone way down the pecking order

I really loathe hearing andros Townsend comments on talksport but thought it was worth sharing this one on the favre debacle:

“I heard they were getting ready to start the work permit process and he was getting ready to fly over and start his quarantine before pre-season.

“I don’t understand how you get through the negotiations stage, the interview stage, you agree the contract and then last minute you decide you don’t have the motivation for it.
