So if we do get Benteke, do we get another ? The reason I'm asking is the Benteke offer went in before the Bolasie deal was mentioned, so does that mean we have £25 odd mill still sloshing about ?

Incentive compensation is not only common in many professional sports but if done correctly works out well. It's also not "extra money" they are usually set up so that the player has the chance to get more money than their typical salary if they do well, or less if they do poorly.
