No, in this aspect you aren't wrong. However, as a general observation of your modus operandi I'd say I'm pretty accurate. At last! A rare admission of a Stirling error. There's more blood in the local granite than those here.

There was a couple of posts criticising Disney, you responded by “ what has this got to do with the thread ?” So I asked what relevance Trump has to any of our transfer threads? You mentioned him in them so presumably you have an answer If Trump had been the subject of the comment then you might have a point. He would not though have been. He would only have been introduced as an example of behaviour, or a similar oblique connection. In this case there had been a completely factually incorrect statement made, which I had corrected. To see it being continued prompted my question so as to avoid any further misunderstandings. It seems to me you are grasping at straws to try to deflect attention away from the actual point.

No I think you are trying to deflect. Yet again can never admit you may be wrong. Unbelievable

The pin dancing hobby horse gets an outing. A convenient excuse to try to deflect attention by blaming others for your own sins. Have you been studying Trump tactics again?

I'm just being honest, I think you have issues. But let's get back to the election. I don't want to spend time attacking you. If I'm frank I don't even know why you're wasting your time doing this when surely there are better things to be getting on with considering your health.

But yeah, back onto the matter at hand Been imagining what might happen when the Donald gets cut loose and needs to start dealing with debts coming due, potential lawsuits, god knows what else... Interestingly I did not realise that ex presidents are also entitled to some level of security briefings. Trump obviously has loads of knowledge stored up in that orangery of his that could be very useful to him if cornered, or, perhaps more unlikely, should he need to make some significant cash to service his 500m or so of loans. I suppose he will be coining it in by creating his own news subscription service or partnering/owning newsmax etc, asking for donations (like he is now) but that can only get you so far. It is really fascinating to think about what he's going to do when he loses the protection of the presidency. How he's going to react, what's going to come out, or not come out. Finally getting to see his tax returns, the IRS etc. Then amongst all that he's obviously going to go about trying to destroy the political system and replace it with some sort of commercial dictatorship. Although ironically that really exists already, just in a more passive guise.

No, because I don't. I do loads of other things. I am about to go shopping and will be walking the dog on a beach where he will doubtless swim first. I may cast a line for 30 mins too, just to see if there are any bass around. I am just able to type very quickly. Bit antagonistic WE. As we speak, the very outcome of the Brexit talks hangs by a thread on fishing rights and there's you thumbing your nose at those hard-working negotiators by ploughing your own furrow and setting out your own personal quotas. Unless you're going to give your catch to a fellow French or Spanish fisherman, of course.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

Just what do you do after being president? A bit like leaving the Beatles....it's gonna be a hell of an anti climax for you no matter what it is. Trump loves the limelight, so if he walks in January and he still has his marbles and energy I see a return to TV shows.....and like you say perhaps get involved with a media network. I could be wrong but I don't see Trump staying at the front end of the republican party fighting the culture wars.....As president he really let his base down in that sense so doing it now wouldn't ring true.
