What a day...going back to work today is such a come down. I just want to jump onto my desk & scream "Going down, Are we f..." to all my oblivious, ignorant colleagues. To be honest, I just want to relive it & milk that wonderful day a little more so I thought i'd go through my favourite bits. Firstly, our support was brilliant. The sea of red & blue balloons was immense at the start. The pretty much constant echo of "woah woah woah" was superb. I was in the lower tier, front row down on the right by the BBC box & a few seats across from the pretty hot Palace girls who were interviewed pre match & at half time. I was on the box celebrating our first goal, the handsome chap in the Palace scarf, pumping both fists frantically & screaming into the lens like a madman. A tad embarassing but that'll never be deleted from my Sky +! Secondly, chanting "Super Al" at Alan Pardew to which he responded by geeing us up to sing louder. Good man. Thirdly, the pure emotion at the final whistle. I didn't know what to do or where to turn. I just jumped on the stranger next to me & embraced for a good 30 seconds. Then I ran down to the front & dived on Johnny Ertl who had jumped into the crowd. I was grabbing him & screaming "I love you Johnny". I took a whack in the nose in the process & came away with claret gushing from it & got a few dodgy looks from people who thought i'd been causing trouble on the pitch. My nose still kills but the throbbing pain is nothing but a pleasant reminder of Sundays events. Lastly, the Wednesday fans were a disgrace. I felt sick seeing Clint getting attacked. Pure scum. Luckily, i'm pretty certain Clint can handle himself & I doubt it will effect him. Getting back to my uncle's van was a bit of a nightmare. We had parked quite a way away from the ground & after removing my Palace colours the plan was to act like a miserable Northern b@stard whilst walking amongst the Wendys. After making our way through a wall of them who were baying for blood we had a 10 minute walk which was torture. As soon as we got back to the van, it was like the moment in Only Fools & Horses when they get in the van after the auction. We just got in, closed the doors & just went mental. A moment i'll remember for the rest of my life. I've never been so proud to be a Palace fan. I think the fans & players have been an absoloute credit to the club this season. The unity between us since going into admin has been superb & in all honesty, half of me is glad the season is over...the other half gutted as for pure emotion & drama, this season has been one of my favourites as a Palace fan. I'm going to the POTY do in a couple of weeks & I can't wait. Here's to being a Palace fan & the future. Eagles.

Couldn't agree more about the comedown and I didn't even make it to the game - which I will regret bottling for a long, long time!

What are the arrangements? When/where is it? Can anyone go? I am season ticket holder - do I qualify?

I take responsibility for that after saying the station was 'just over there' ie 4 miles away. I'm glad no one died though Sunday was up there with my all time favourite atmospheres - Hillsborough is an awesome old skool football stadium.

Love going there, beats places like the Emirates hands down. Had a similar walk back to the station after getting separated from my group. Took bleedin' ages!
