Palace have done quick business, for important players just not since Hodgson , took the job. Cahill, maybe. I think you mean Sam Allardyce 'done quick business'
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

No one can say for sure . But as he doesn’t hold the purse strings ,he can only , take what’s left after , all financial ,and other requirements have been covered . It’s clear he probably has the last say on what he ends up getting offered , if that is at the bottom of his original list , he has to maintain a squad that has a chance. .

I got told a while back that parish and freedman totally rule on the transfer front, as owner and Sporting director that’s their prerogative , Roy might not agree with them but he is their employee and a total professional who wants the best for his team. Eberichi reminds me of Gazza with his balance and the flashes of brilliance that he produces, hopefully they are all singing from the same hymsheet as I believe he will be a great addition to our team, please get this one over the line

With Allardyce we were looking relegation certs so we were willing to pay big money and gamble on our PL status and it paid off. There’s no urgency now under Roy as it’s a case of do nothing and finish 14th or sign some players and finish 9th. There’s nothing on line. If we’re in a relegation scrap come the January transfer window, I’m sure the board will magic some money from somewhere.

The longer it goes on the more I fear that it won't happen and somebody else will come in. Fingers crossed today is the day.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

We have a small ageing squad prone to injury. So new recruits are essential

So new recruits are essential The bookies have us as 4th favorites for relegation at the moment. We need to get in a few players (and hopefully offload some too) to survive another year in the PL. I hope the Eze deal goes through but I suspect those on Twitter criticising the club for not getting the deal done quickly will be the same of the ones criticising the club if it seems we have overpaid for him. Palace were already needing to tighten our belt due to the massive wages of some of our players. The reduction in non TV revenue is only going to make things harder for us.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Update: No signings will be announced until next week at the earliest due to certain people being away. Expect a lot of activity over the next 2 weeks 😀 Ignore reports Eze is still happening.
