So now pictures from 2002 emerge.

[Link]

Andrew showing (allegedly) Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey and Ghislaine Maxwell around Buckingham Palace.

I notice Andrew is front of the first photo, pointing towards something. His face looks slightly inebriated and somewhat sweaty. Aaaah, so he looks to be sweating and puffy-faced. Hmmmm

5hlt his pants and folded. He had no other choice. That was an expensive shag or two

The court statement in full

"Virginia Giuffre and Prince Andrew have reached an out of court settlement.

“The parties will file a stipulated dismissal upon Ms Giuffre’s receipt of the settlement (the sum of which is not being disclosed).

"Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms. Giuffre's character, and he accepts that she has suffered as an established victim of abuse and and as a result of unfair public attacks.

"It is known that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked countless young girls over many years.

"Prince Andrew regrets his association with Epstein and comments the bravery Ms. Giuffre and other survivors in standing up for themselves and others.

"He pledges to demonstrate his regret for association with Epstein by supporting the fight against the evils of sex trafficking, and supporting its victims."

Follow the money and that's all it was about otherwise the ta....
Sorry money grabbing cow would have gone to court to at least prove him as responsible for what she alledged.
Now we know he was innocent then. Good we can have him re realmed and part of the Royal family.

Money grabbing is always used as an excuse against women by some men. What we do know is (i) She was abused and (ii) she is donating the latest settlement money to charity.

As to why anyone innocent would settle a case, I will leave that for the public to ponder.

I would wonder why you would accept a settlement if you have a case against the other. Surely its about innocence or guilt and civil or not it should be pursued. Whether she's giving the money to charity or not is neither here nor there. Protecting others by revealing wronguns cannot be bought.

Naive. You do not understand court behaviour, the reality behind confidential settlements and the extraordinary pressure to make the matter go away on both sides.

Also he has not been "cleared" as you suggest, in fact quite the reverse.

His brother may restore his HRH when he is eventually king but I imagine a VERY quiet retirement for Andy.

1. As I understand, the money is being paid to HER charity, set up to help victims of abuse & trafficking, however, depending on where the charitable trust is based, many of them only require 5% of income to actually be used for the charitable purpose.

2. It spares his mother having her Platinum jubilee celebrations overshadowed by a long drawn out and no doubt messy case, with plenty of unsavoury facts coming out on both sides.

no doubt she'll get most of the money.

Andrews life is now totally changed. I'm sure he'll have plenty of cash left, but he's also got to pay his totally useless legal team too. And probably the other side as well.

His mates will still have him over to stay at their country retreats, and he'll still have lots of holidays.
Parents might be a bit more mindful if they have teenage daughter(S).

Personally think Andrew is a complete piece of work. However

I can understand why he would settle. People can say about clearing their name. I was in a fairly rough pub on a dart’s night back In the 2000’s. The Michael Jackson verdict came in. Let’s just say the court of public opinion did not hold the same view as the legal court.

Once the hunt is underway - there is no way to call off the hounds. Best thing he can do is lie back and take it, which is ironic really.

Not surprised he has settled if it had gone to court he would have been questioned in detail about his sex life and partners, major embarrassment all around.

Incorrect. Andrew is giving the money to her charity. Take a look at that charity’s accounts and see what it pays her. Tax wise it’s the best way. Plus it makes all the wokes happy. Win win
