One of those things where a small amount of idiots were outraged for as long as they found something else to be offended about. Whoever dragged it out played a blinder. Just a silly piss take on a night out.

If he did do the salute, it's a poor taste joke, but joke none the less... school boy humour and not even worth a slap on the wrist - we all know someone or maybe ourselves who goofed about.
