Cahill must want to play regular first team football. He has more chance of that at Fulham than at our club. It got down to the last minute with Cahill almost going to Fulham but couldn’t agree personal terms so the plug was pulled

I am a long-distance follower of CPFC now (in NZ) but as I lad I went along to watch some of the Palace 'legends' including Johny Byrne, our best ever striking partnership and many, many more, Attillo included. As a follower /supporter, I urge every single fan to be more positive/enthusiastic/ supportive/ thankful to those that raised Palace from oblivion to being the developing PL team they are today. Instead of 'trashing' individuals' performances every week, I suggest we re-build those lacking in confidence-because EVERYONE wearing the cherished shirt needs SUPPORT not 'trash talk' criticism. Let's get behind Roy and his Eagles. He knows the difference between GOOD and GREAT and he deserves outlasting gratitude-not continual criticism! My grandmother once said...'Ignore criticism unless it comes from an expert'. Palace fans need to be MORE POSITIVE!! Well said

We still have one loan space available and I’ll be very surprised if we don’t use it.

I would be fine with no new signings if we can keep our powder dry for a bit of investment in the summer.

Didn't someone from the FYP Podcast suggest that we were waiting on any RLC developments? Using our final loan place on Loftus-Cheek I'd be happy with. We only have 19 fully fit squad members (according to the podcast) so another midfielder would seem about right. We have 3 strikers already and I can't see anyone available who is better. As W12 suggested, I can see the board looking to the summer for any improvements up top.

Whilst of course I was delighted to beat Tottenham one has to put the win in perspective given the relative strengths of both teams. Our weakened team beat their weakened team so I cannot take too much from the win. Looking at the strikers, Benteke is back from injury and when did he last score ? Wickham has scored but with his recent injury woes there is always the chance he could break down yet again.Ayew has been far from effective and until recently was being pilloried on here.Sako hit a bit of a 'Purple patch' last season over a month period but overall what has been his contribution to the cause ? There wasn't a great demand for his services in the summer and I suspect WBA supporters haven't been too critical of their club for allowing him to leave. Of course I hope these strikers come good and fire us to safety but I suspect quite a few of our supporters might not be so confident that they will make positive contributions.
