The guy has been magnificent, particularly today, and when the injury crisis is over,he will still be in the side .

His passing...you sensed other players trying to find him, knowing he would distribute well. I feel good when he has the ball, like something not s*** is going to happen.

Great scouting, Palace (lol)

I hope it happens that he can play in front of the defence. I'd love to see that

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Jairo certainly had his best ever game for us today and up against Pepe, a £75m player.
I liked Jairo's calmness on the ball and his tackling. He also drove a few decent long balls/free kicks at good pace.
The more he plays, the better he is likely to get. He'll have his work cut out next week, (as all our players will) at the Etihad, and will be interesting to see how he does (assuming he is picked, of course).
I do wonder how we would fare with him in central midfield looking to feed the Ayew/Tosun combination.
Any thoughts?

If you played him and Luca together it might give the defence enough protection to play Mayer or dare I say it, Camarasa, further up the pitch. Jairo and Max's passing would surely give a better quality of ball to the rest of the attacking players.

Kayoute, McArthur, and McCarthy are ok but don't not great.

I'm actually shocked how good Riedewald has looked. I can't help thinking, what's the catch? Why hasn't he been in the side earlier?

Like others have said, as soon as we get the back line sorted out, I want to see him in midfield. I don't care who gets dropped to make way for him.

One of the regulars on the BBS, who watches the U23s, said that Jairo had often looked dreadful for them until quite recently. I guess that might be why he has not featured before now.

He has looked very good so far.

Max & Jairo are the future centre mids for us,almost perfect replacements for Luka & Jimi Mac

And apparently Ayew was MOM,understandably coz as per he run his knacker's off all over the pitch and was his usual pain in the backside to the back four, and the fact he scored the equaliser.....
But for me & me daughter Jairo MOM all day long.

You may have hit the nail on the head. Maybe he needed to do a bit of growing up well if he continues to perform as he has done he will stay in the team.

To be brought over to a new country at a young age, the manager that bought you sacked within weeks, demoted to the under 23s, rarely given a chance and not thought highly by the fans.. Not exactly a breeding ground for success. But wow, humble pie time... The deserves a huge amount of credit. Playing better than Luca!
