This site is a brilliant place for fans to express their opinions and an exchange of views and opinions should be welcomed.
As a point of information,Willo is a genuine Palace fan and has been so since the 60's,long before I suspect, some of his detractors were even born and his posts are both worthy and welcome as far as I am concerned.

Just out of interest, do you know this to be a fact, or because he has told you on here?

if West Brom get relegated today, thats us playing against a dead team when the time comes.

what is the record of games against teams already relegated ? Sometimes they roll over and die, sometimes they play with less fear and more hunger - each player trying to sell themselves in the transfer market.

Anybody got the statistics ?

Not what happened from memory.

Hull 0-2 Sunderland then

Palace 4-0 Hull

Hull 0-7 Spurs I think.

It was the misses v Sunderland at 0-0 and then the 3 players missing vs us and the early fvck up and Zaha goal that did them.

In fairness, had Benteke returned an even vaguely acceptable number of goals (let's say 10), we'd probably be looking at a cosy top 10 finish and all being very happy at our progression and how we might sneak a Europa League spot next year. We're only 7 points off 10th. Not stuffing up both Bournemouth games in the last minute would've got us 4 points closer to that.

With the De Boer shambles, at worst having 12 first team players injured at the same time, and having a striker who doesn't score, it's been the season it needed to be. It's been underwhelming on the whole, but I'd have snatched your hand off for it at the end of September. Still confident that it wouldn't take too much to have a good year next year - no-one outside the top 6 looks particularly impressive.

Yes I think a lot of the time they’ve raised the levels teams usually do and have missed out on striker form and decent subs when the opposition have used them.

Roy and the players have not only done it for themselves, us and the club but they’ve also dug Parish out of the sh1t, plus it should be recognised Parish/board were brave to sack frank so early, albeit only Parish taking the flack. The January window was disappointing and didn’t reduce the risk factor but when we survive, and much of that survival has been down to Zaha’s availability, the January window should probably be judged with this summer’s. The window closing before match 1 will change timing and hopefully Parish a little and us being unprepared for 3/4-7 games.

2 - 2. Bin dippers f***ing it up now. Another pathetic display from so-called top six.

West Brom just took 4 points off some top teams.

won at Old trafford, and drew against 'pool.

certainly not an easy game for us.

Top teams who weren't bothering their arse, that is.
