Lads he isn’t that good, just let a Goal in. Well he'll need to be used to the idea that all goals conceded are automatically the goalkeeper's fault. Muriel flicked the cross beyond him from point blank range. I'd have been very impressed if he had kept that out. He did seem to exude calm and control in his area and presided over an otherwise solid defence, which is more than can be said for the Sevilla keeper, who conceded the equaliser in the 94th minute by means of a horrendous cockup. Guaita wasn't called upon for any saves apart from the goal. No evidence that Guaita is brillant in that match but also none that he is s***. At the end Guaita seemed to be just walking off with the rest of the team, although the cameras were more interested in Sevilla players surrounding the ref trying to convince him that there had been a foul on their own keeper.

Agreed Ferret, Getafe didn't do a lot of attacking in that game but he kept going to the end and snaffled the chance when the Sevilla keeper make a rickett at the very end.

Lois Remy has just joined Getafe on loan from Las Palmas (Despite being their top goalscorer and falling out with their manager). Clutching at straws I hope this means Getafe will need to alieviate their wage bill to cover Remy's.

Think its an attempt from us to force them into getting something now rather than nothing in the summer. Bit of bribery as if to say the money they'll get is going to get lower the longer they make us wait.

Positive that we have a deal for the summer. Also positive that we are doing something now. I wonder if the offer to Getafe involves us picking up Guaita's slice of the money, therefore restructured rather than lower. May be FFP reasons. Of course, all speculation.

Possibly restructured but lower at the same time EG Pay the lower sum straight away en-bloc rather than the higher sum in installments ? Just speculation.

BBC reporting Arsenal GK Martinez, on loan at Getafe wants to leave as not got the game time expected, Leeds interested in signing him. That would put an end to Guaita joining us before the summer.
