Milo's penalty was unstoppable. Benteke's was embaracing. I'm furious.

On BBC sport news it apparent from Roy's words that someone on the pitch decided to go against his instructions (presumably that Luka should take all the penalties). If a particular player(s) did then they should be at the very least fined.
Threw way 2 precise points today - totally unnecessarily.

Sorry if this is already posted. I was not at the game, but from the stream, it looked liked there was plenty contact on Zaha for the second penalty.

BBC already mentioning retrospective review for diving. WTF?

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson to BBC Sport on what looked like an argument with a fan at full time: "It wasn't an altercation, the guy was only asking a question. He was asking why Benteke had been told to take the penalty. I was telling him he hadn't. Benteke got hold of the ball. It was a unilateral decision, no one on our team was able to wrest the ball from him. We the management don't expect players to change those decisions, we tried to shout out our instructions, they obviously didn't reach the penalty spot."

Tekker's needs a good talking to and railed in. Hopefully this incident will mean he will put in a proper shift in the future as he has let everybody down by this decision.

Why wasn't Luka marching up to him and grabbing the ball?! Why wasn't Dann (the captain on the pitch) getting involved? Unbelievable. No, just let him take it, oh go on, he really wants to after all... Honestly can't get that angry with Benteke, i'm angry at the vacuum of leadership that means no one stands up and says stand the f*ck down to detrimental egotism like that. The team has to come first, not the whims of out of form strikers on 12 game goal droughts.... God that has royally pissed me off...

Ok if that is the case then this is worse than I thought. Benteke is thinking he is bigger than the club.

no its not, for that money I expect some effort and commitment, not walking off the pitch laughing!!!

Yeah, let's hope he's on fire in the next game.

I think it's more likely he'll be even less committed.

This. Whilst Benteke is a bellend for demanding the ball (based on what people have said), and ultimately missing. The fact that no one grabbed it off him (an out-of-form, lacking in confidence striker) is very telling about the characters we have in this side.

No we wouldn't. We'd be at 18th behind West Brom on goal differance alone.
