Yet another problem with the selfish old g**s is that they are not dying on time as they used to, if the government were to cancel brexit there would be no need for them to hang on any longer.

Hence freeing up property and strain on public services at a stroke.

No doubt you be volunteering for euthanasia when the time comes.

I don't need to, as a Palace fan I have reduced life expectancy anyway.

ONS must have got it wrong, then.

Ah the I don't like the findings so I'll dismiss those that carried out the research response. How very Goveian of you.

You clearly don't understand why the British population is increasing. It ain't 'cause of old people chief.

Higher life expectancy doesn't affect population growth!

Really? Please explain.

It's not me disagreeing. It's the ONS. How do you account for the disparity?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Certainly by reading the news reports etc, there appears to be more attending this march than the 'Day of rage' march....

If people die less often than before then unless the birth rate is lowered in proportion then the population numbers goes up. That's population growth.

Are you drunk again Nick?

Umm,sorry to disturb your own period of rage about immigrants,Stirling...but Nick was querying something Hrolf said at 9.16 am yesterday...so the question might more aptly be:

Are you drunk again,Stirling?

Are you high?

What's that got to do with the question or logic therein?

Are you a bit dim comrade?

Population growth is caused by immigration and birth rate combined being higher than emigration and mortality rate.

As I have tried to explain to that hard of thinking before, the birth rate before mass immigration would have eventually seen a fall in population due to a smaller proportion of people being at fertile age in the increasingly aging demographic. The less people having babies, the more each woman needs to have to sustain the population. The rate per person was actually falling.
