I believe May is going nowhere and we are stuck with her for years. Politicians tend to find their best when cornered. Corbyn did it last year. Held firm and then fortune garnered him a favourable result, not a win, in fact far from it, but enough slack to mean he is ok for the time being. Not what I want, the Moggster is the best choice for PM, after Sir Nigel, obviously. However, better than a spendthrift, commie arsehole. Will live with it.

All of them are capitalist to some degree and socialist too the blend varies. Here we have a tory govt. but the socialist values of health care welfare education etc. are still there. The constant battle you describe of capitalism versus socialism just doesn't happen it is not relevant. It is an ex-parrot.
