Looking at Silva's achievement at Hull from a slightly different angle, you might ask what would have happened had Wilf not been handed an air kick. Remember that had they had such luck early in the game, we might well have capitulated - and been relegated. Looking at his season as a failure in the strength of a gift wrapped balls up is not entirely fair.
