Not to jinx things but the postponement of the Spurs game may work to our advantage in the end. Sounds entirely logical.

Fantastic result and performance. WBA didn't really have much in their locker but we still did our job. Glad I made the journey. Must of been great to be there today, Brent, after some real lows this season. Shouts out to all of the rest there and some great chants regarding the Cap Wearer. COYP !!

They lack firepower. Also think possibly Burnley could be sucked into all of this at the death. Woeful away from home and will of taken a knock today. Watford, Hull and them huge home games for us. COYP !! How can this be true? They have Bamford. Edited by dg1937 (04 Mar 2017 7.20pm)

Didn't see the game at all today but no team beats WBA at The Hawthorns unless thye have a lot about them. It's been a long time waiting but I do believe we may the spirit back and maybe smiling faces at the training ground. Thank christ for the new signings all hitting the ground running. We now have a half-chance of surviving which is much better than it was looking like a fortnight ago. Sunderland may just have done us the biggest favour possible. Superb performance by the team today. Hennessy hardly a save to make. Apart from a couple of corners we never looked like conceding. 2 fantastic goals and we could easily have won by more. Absolutely superb

If we stay up I think we could get him actually. However, Liverpool may bring him in from the cold once Klopp finally realises that their defence is a little poor. Does anyone know if we have an automatic option to buy Sakho or could Liverpool block a move or up their asking price?

I've been critical of Tomkins but I thought he was good today. Sakho was again fantastic, Luka is the coolest calmest player in the Premier League right now.

Absolutely quality atmosphere today. Been proper buzzing the whole way home. Not home just yet, but worth it to see a 2-0 away win, a clean sheet and every single one of them putting in a lot of effort. I don't think anyone had a poor game today. MoM for me was Sakho - the man is an absolute beast in the air and a brick wall on the ground.
