Most of those posters keep saying how Speroni should be playing instead - my point is that he is several inches shorter and would not have reached the ball. We all know how you feel - calling our keeper 'butter fingers' isn't exactly fair.

No-ONE has said Jules should have been in goal last game in fact Jules has not been mentioned in regard to Hennessy nearly gifting Watford a point. Most saves he makes are run of the mill and I admit he does make the odd super save but not on a regular basis as he should be. It is a good job our defence has tightened up as they have as Hennessy does not have much to do now.
As for calling him "butter fingers" I could think of stronger words because he drops balls like a prostitute drops her knickers and gifts the other team a chance to get the ball back. He cannot command his area and has lost bus many points over the season. Jules might be shorter but boy can he be a brilliant stopper and read a game and command his area better than Hennessy. Jules is on the bench every game and he will at some stage be called upon to get back between the sticks if Hennessy gets injured. Steve is not the goalkeeper we all thought and hoped he was I am afraid I expected more. BFS needs to be looking for a first class goalkeeper now and line him up in my opinion for next season.

This is exactly the point I was trying to make. Some people seem to have forgotten what it is like to have a good goalkeeper in goal for us and carry on about routine saves when they are made, as if to justify their argument that Wayne is a sufficient goalie.
