I almost shut it off out of frustration after the 2nd goal, glad I stuck with the boys. Was running around the house after the Benteke goal. That goal proves that transfer was worth every penny. I was going to spend the day doing yard work but after this morning, I'm drinking Miller Lite and watching American college football. I'm not going to let yard work get in the way of a great comeback win earlier.

Seventh place and climbing...

With this statement you are confirming to the whole world that you have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about it.OPTA stats will show Fryers and Lee with an assist each today and rightly so as it was their respective crosses that led to our 2nd and 3rd goals.I take it McArthur and Benteke had nothing to do with the result as well then.

Quite clearly Pardew had a really good day at the office after one of his employees royally messed up but then corrected it. Pardew was the wrong manager to not shut up shop vs with his record of going for it, especially in 2nd halves, and at their own ground as well. Spaces everywhere for both sides. They weren't in control of that match so should've made it so at 2-0 up.

If that was vs decent opposition then we would've been buried but that's an observation not a criticism because now the pressure is off in what could be 4 very tough games.

Pardew now does deserve that release of pressure because it's very possible we could come out of the next 4 games with very little to show for it and I for one won't criticise for that. Or of course the confidence from 3 wins can get more points which is part of the point of beating the pitiful Stoke at home.

Another well done to all. Haven't seen Pardew smile like that for a while and understandably so. The morale coming back south tonight must be high.

Another is about 45% of their attacks were at our left back and the rest halved between centrally and right back. No surprise and it'll continue to happen.

Most important thing reading this thread is how were far too keen on being "Einsteins" when really a bit of AP belief will go a long way.

A classic away day, 1000 or so die hards, no waiting for a beer or a burger, plenty of room to sit or stand without being complained at. Going 2-0 down and winning in extra time with the help of inspired substitutions. Even Punch had a good game !.

And a big thanks to the guy that sold me a ticket for £20 at the turnstile 😎.
