Anyone know what these Villa sackings are about? Presume it's nothing to do with texts and team-sheets!?

"Unexpected result" b*llocks. Not here in SE25 it wasn't. We just beat Chelski fair and square (maybe Cardiff missed that) and Cardiff were there for the taking. Crap owner, crap manager, crap supporters.

Name the three teams you most want to go down.

1 Cardiff
2 Cardiff
3 Cardiff

Sour grapes. I'd be flabergasted if this went anywhere and if it does it would be a complete travesty. If Sunderland field an ineligable player for 4 games and only get a fine then how can they punish us any differently.

Rachid Harkouks passport was lost in the post ......Honest.

Team of the 80's, well we were for a few months in the autumn of 1979...

This will go somewhere. It won't tarnish our amazing survival but it will cost money. I have a feeling, with the bbc being involved, there's a lot of genuine evidence and unfortunately we've been caught at it. I do believe however that yes, this is rife and other clubs including Cardiff are doing the same. We were just a little naive in this instance and didn't cover our arse. Oh well, wouldn't cry over it.

Just emailed the team sheet for the 4-0 defeat at Fulham to Cardiff. Experimenting with Speroni out wide feeding Gabbidon up top in a 2-2-6 formation.

Apparently Cardiff are trying to say that the result we got there should not stand due to the supposed leak.
This smacks of desperation on Cardiff's part but I wouldn't put it past the powers that be to screw us over.
This story is on the BBC sport website.

Thoughts?

Not against you personally mate but you're the most recent poster that seems to think the powers that be would want to "screw us over" ! What do you base this on ?

Complete rubbish, Palace make the same contributions towards their partition in the Premier League, they will get same treatment as any other club.

As stated before: SECTION B Rule B15 states: "In all matters and transactions relating to the league each club shall behave towards each other club and the league with the utmost good faith".

SECTION B Rule 17 goes on, "A Club shall not without the Board’s prior written consent either during its membership of the League or at any time after its membership has terminated disclose or divulge either directly or indirectly to any Person whatsoever or otherwise make use of any confidential information as to the business or finances of the League or any other Club or any of their dealings, transactions or affairs or as to any other matters which may come to its knowledge by reason
of its membership save to statutory and regulatory authorities or as may be required by law or to such Officials and Auditors of that Club to whom such disclosure is strictly necessary for the purpose of their duties and then only to the extent so necessary".
That to me is what Cardiff may be using as justification for their complaint, I may be wrong but as I read that as a non Englishman, it could also implicate Cardiff for their failings.

Also there is no mention of this type of issue in APPENDIX 5 & 6 Managers and clubs code of conduct.

So unless the Premier league introduce a new rule, it's a storm in a teacup, as this sort of thing has been going on for years, even when I was playing it was going on, every club tried to get their opponents lineup before they named theirs, and I retired in 1977, it's called trying to outwit your opponent.

Exactly - As I said earlier, there is no actual 'rule' that has been broken, you could argue if we did do this then we went against a very shaky and vague ethical 'guidleine' to which no-one can actually pass a judgement on

So you're saying that some clubs don't get better treatment than others? Man utd don't get certain decisions that we wouldn't? You can dismiss what I say as complete rubbish, you're entitled to your opinion, but the fact is I have absolutely no faith in the people running the game. Every one knows that they love making examples of people, unless you're one of the big five of course.

I'd love to know what Tan's real beef with Moody is. Surely an overspend on the transfer budget for a multi billionaire isn't enough to produce such vitriol. As for super grass Freedman! All the love gone in an instant. I've gone from wishing him well to hoping his managerial career falls on it's arse in a heartbeat.

Just sack Moody. If it is true he is an idiot anyway. Seriously, what did he think he was doing.

Interesting to see Monk say an outside source is trying to unsettle the club.

Tin-foil hat time, but who, out of the clubs around them, could possibly have an agenda specifically against Swansea, and could quite comfortably have contacts within the (Welsh) press?

Hmmmm.

Anyway, I don't think there's ever been any doubt that we probably sourced a likely Cardiff lineup, whether that be through empirical and historical evidence, thorough preparation and scouting and so on.

However, reading FYP's piece, from a lawyer no less, it seems that we have be all accounts don't nothing wrong, and by all accounts Cardiff are actually drawing negative attention to theirselves and nothing more.

I can't for a second imagine that Moody or anyone else in the club would be as stupid as to text a mate and offer a bribe or a payment. I can believe however, that if asked politely, there'd be enough disillusioned staff that would happily tell Moody whatever he wanted.

Either way, the sooner the league come and say one or another , whether there is a case to answer or not, the better.

Have a feeling Moody will go which is a great shame. Ultimately all clubs do it and at the same time such info rarely makes a difference to the result.

Freedman is a fcuking Cnut. Pure and simple. Bitter and jealous at what we have achieved without him. He is dead to me now.

We can't be deducted points if Sunderland weren't. They've only got to look at our team selection, did it change? No, we've had the same starting 11 for week (barring injuries). And as far as Dougie is concerned, just about sums him up. He left when he got offered more money, obviously has no love of the club, forget about him now, we've got a fantastic manager with a great back room staff...get behind them.

all i know about moody is that he landed every single target that Pulis wanted. What warrants him being labeled an idiot
