Guff That's right, utter tripe....full of massively overstated lefty tropes. He's gone missing a bit....lets hope he's healthy. Perhaps it's because he's been rinsed so often on here that's he's had to go and dry himself out.

No she is not. A hero / heroine is someone who puts their own life at risk to save others. She is no more a hero than that stupid advert for "hero tradesmen". She is someone who is political and backed by other peoples money took her case to court and won. Nothing wrong it that just not heroic. Edited by Badger11 (18 Mar 2020 9.57am) Google defines a heroine as:- "a woman admired for her courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities." So in my book Gina Miller qualifies. In spades!

Another definition. That was a new word for me so thanks for it. Never too old to learn! Google defines it as:- "the view or theory that the self is all that can be known to exist. Don't think that really applies to Gina Miller does it? What she did had no element of self interest and was all about enabling our elected representatives to do their job.

I wonder if the EU is now having second thoughts. Just think if they had thrown Cameron a bone we would still be in the EU and more than paying our way, instead they now face the prospect of us as an economic rival and a queue of new entrants holding out the begging bowl. How long before the leaders of the individual countries tell the Eurocrats to shut up and give us a free trade deal.

I’d say it fits pretty well. Being convinced that she could overturn the votes of 17m people because she thought she knew better? That’s quite an ego.
