You use police figures like you use the NHS. It's just election blah blah.
Labour increased police numbers and at the same time increased the national debt. The Tories have spent the last two terms trying to pay off the interest and get spending down to a manageable level.
I would like to see the necessary number of police on the streets but strangely that number always seems to be more than there actually is at any given time. Numbers are just reducing to the levels they were at before Labour overspending.

Shame your analysis of the debt is wrong. Tories have a woeful record on debt.

Speaking with someone who is a forensic accountant yesterday at the beer festival they mentioned the Tory faintest of pledge to basically scrap the serious fraud office and move its role over to the NCA. The SFO is independent and specialises in investigating and prosecuting financial crime. The move is retrograde and politically motivated to give Whitehall more control and law enforcement less scope to deal with these kind of crimes. Crimes perpetrated by bankers, tycoons and their ilk. Tory donors in other words. Another pledge that only makes us worse off as a society and is driven by ideology rather than evidence. Much like grammar schools.

'Much like grammar schools'. What a fool you are. I went to a grammar school. My father was a bricklayer and we lived in a two up two down terraced house, had an outside loo and no bathroom until I was 10. Despite my unprivileged background, I received a good education thanks to grammar schools - I even know about 20th century British history, like the Cambridge spy ring. I have come across cases where products of the modern education system have a shocking ignorance of such history.

Strange how no one trusts Labour with the economy then.

One reason whey they will lose yet another election.

Grammar schools are great if you're lucky enough to go to one. I went to one. Bad in general though. This is backed up by evidence rather than anecdotes.

So you went to one, got a degree and now condemn them.

Hmmm. Are you Diane Abbott in disguise?

No you can't be. She doesn't do economics.

Must have been bad if you didn't learn about the biggest spy ring in British history.
Your prejudice against grammar schools is based on your left wing ideology and dogma, not evidence.

You really do switch things from one thing to another.
You praise Grammar schools one minute then you run them down. I really do think you need to get a grip and stop being an ass. There is absolutely NO chance that Labour will win this coming election. The only reason that the polls have got both parties so close is because the media has admitted they have given Corbyn much more air time than Theresa May while she has been away dealing with important matters on security with all the other nations and other matters also. There is no-one in this country that wants to see Corbyn and Abbot running the country. You only had to watch her this morning on the Marr show waffling on as she always does in her usual moaning voice and will never answer a straight question with a straight answer. She is a total waste of space and only in the shadow cabinet because of her past "Friendship" with Corbyn who I might add must have had a few beers or shots before his "Liaison" with her initially. Or he was really hard up!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

It's always personal attacks rather than attacks on policy.

I'm against grammar schools as well. The private education system in general. I recognise that it can't just be abolished easily though.

The public system has to be able to cope with the numbers first but as a long term aim I would definitely not have grammar schools.

He has said that. He's written about it in the past.

In fact It's a lie to state otherwise. In essence Corbyn regards the British state aboard as a byword for imperialism.
