How would you define a "westerner", Stirling?
Cultures that were affected by the renaissance and the age of reason that gradually grew from it.

Ok. So, Poland, for example, is included then as being in your view "our brothers".
With the caveat that some brothers are closer than others....For example, America is pretty close as a 'brother' western nation and culture.

Sorry, you might have misunderstood me. Which laws have affected you negatively?
The metric system and a Euro we're not part of affect you negatively?

The metric system reminds me that I not governed by laws decided by my own government. The Euro crashing.....Was first and foremost the fault of the western banking system. However, the Euro was a currency that was inherently weak due to its inflexible nature. It couldn't cope or survive any shocks...the rules our EU masters had set up saw to that and hence the Euro made the whole crash worse......By the way you aren't seriously suggesting that because we aren't apart of the Euro that its failure hasn't affected us financially...Even a simple understanding of economics would tell you that. I was made redundant due to that crash. Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Apr 2015 4.29pm)

Can think of plenty of nations ahead of them in the brotherly stakes.

I don't need to bear it in mind, I already knew it....Good old JamieMartin liked to say it regularly. Yes, I don't agree with being a member of the European court of human rights. Like I said, I believe that the highest court that a British citizen/subject should have access to should be a British one.

Would you apply the same logic to international war crimes tribunals should a British person be hauled before one in the future?

I've explained in the posts where I disagree with these policies. I don't know...off the top of my head....Mmmmm...Apart from the housing and infrastructure crises....The Euro not crashing might have kept me in my job. The other aspects are more....I don't know....How should I say this....Against my political beliefs perhaps.
