Well voting took us out of the EU.

There's a side to politics that doesn't have to relate to economics and we need people who we can vote for that represent choices.

100% agreed but whether we get them or not is another matter.
You'll go to your grave waiting imo.

LBC James O'Brian having a meltdown over Javid resigning, "the power of Dominic Cummings etc".

In his world it doesn't occur to him that Cummings may just be doing his master's bidding.

Being PM is like being England Manager at some point it will end in failure. It makes sense to me then if you are PM better to go down in flames pursing your policies rather than a lifetime of regret. John Major has said he regrets a lot of the decisions he didn't make.

Javid has apparently been opposing Boris's spending plan so he had to go.

As for Cummings lot's of comments about unelected officials well isn't that the same as civil servants Sir Humphreys' wielded a lot of power in their day so I don't see the difference.

I imagine Boris wants complete loyalty in terms of delivering his agenda. He's got a huge majority and probably doesn't want anymore No. 11 leaks. Julian Smith seems to have done a pretty good job in NI - in not much time and something that was beyond his predecessors.

I see the wonderful EU partners are taking a measured and balance view on the upcoming trade negotiations.

Can see a few secondhand french fishing boats coming on the market this time next year!

Did Japan and Canada have people like this piping up when they were negotiating a trade deal? The EU do like a level playing field!

This happened during the previous negotiations. Remainers were quick to point the finger at Farage's comments when he wasn't part of the government whilst ignoring some pretty disgraceful comments from EU officials and government politicians. And then of course the EU summit where Mrs May was publicly ignored.

Quite childish really of course both sides will disagree but there is no need to start the insults.
