He was just concerned about it going away into areas that he thought detracted from its real purpose. For the record I don’t want us to join the Euro or for there to be a European army either. Like Owen I believe that there will be a two speed Europe with the inner core federalising and the outer core, including us, having a looser association. Unlike Owen I thought the best way to do that was from the inside, although I remain unconvinced that him supporting Leave wasn’t actually tactical. I suggest you read the Wiki page again. This time read it all with an open mind and without spinning it to match your own desires.

The difference being? That whilst sitting down eating you need to have access to your mouth. Standing around chatting or waiting, you don’t.

People wearing masks whilst out for a walk or in their cars are likely to be doing so for reassurance. For many doing something, anything, is better than nothing. Allowing people to find some comfort in that way is hardly to be condemned let alone ridiculed. Those who went on 5 mile walks during lockdowns were almost certainly breaking the law. Unless they have an extraordinarily large garden or were called Captain Tom.

The rules applied there too, so no. Of course. Encouraged to do one. Fined for doing the other. No difference at all.
