From one Badger to another "good post". I have not seen anything from Wilf that suggests he will be anything less than professional. The guy has dragged us across the relegation threshold ever since he came back from Man United. Any player's head would be turned if a big club came in for them. I hope he stays but if he goes for a decent price then I say good luck and thanks for your efforts. In the meantime he is our player and deserve our support until he says or does something otherwise. Too bloomin' right

Just put Ivory Coast one up The interesting thing I've noticed in his appearances in AFCON is that the defenders show no fear when up against our Wilf and just charge into him, and this has proven quite effective. Ivory Coast looked like a bunch of strangers and Wilf's goal will gloss over what was not a great performance from him or the team. Mali were unlucky.

I think that the ease at which people have instantly believed this whole affair, and how it'll make him grow disallusioned with us is disrespectful to Wilf tbh. He knows the score - knows that he won't be sold on the cheap, as it's too important for us. He has only ever shown Loyalty and commitment to Palace. Even when he went to ManU, everyone knew it was his time to try the big time. it ultimately failed for him, and came back (many wouldn't) and stayed loyal. He might have a desire to play for Arsenal - he deserves another shot - but I don't for one minute think that if it falls through it will affect his passion and his desire to make CPFC successful. That's a two way street. Perhaps he wants to consider that fact before doing "come and get me" interviews. Might want to tell the idiot brother who fancies himself as a fixer too. Too easy to believe: all the noise is coming out of him and his family ffs, what else should we believe?

Yep - Wilf could put this to bed in a moment if he cared to. Why would he? If he says he's staying and eventually gets sold for £80m then he'll look like a liar. If he says he's going and Arsenal never meet his valuation then he looks like he's turned his back on the club and has to stick around. All the 'fans' that have turned their back on someone who has given an amazing service to this club should hang their heads in shame.

In any case, he may want to go - and he deserves it. My point is that if he doesn't, don't disrespect him by thinking that he's gonna sulk his way to January.
