There are enough fruit cakes on all the Palace sites to start a cake shop.

I no longer get frustrated. I just feel sorry for them.

With no hint of malice, here is who I feel sorry for the most:

The suckers that trump has tricked and conned. He is a fraud, liar, crook and cheat. Utterly dishonest to his core and also a master manipulator. He is a snake oil salesman, nothing more.

As someone once said, there is one born every minute.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

You just described virtually every politician.

Don't you get it yet?

A large part of the reason why we celebrate Trump is because he antagonises people like you.

Lol, I thought exactly that.

Nobody has ever uttered the words: "I know what the world needs: another politician."

Trump is certainly not a politician, which is refreshing.

I don’t care for Idi Amin or Pol Pot either, and I never met either of them.

If people only talked about and debated about people they had met, that would be taking us back to the dark ages. Even then despots like trump were vilified by those who hadn’t met them. Perhaps we need to back to the era of the caveman, or Stephen Miller as he is sometimes called.

As for Trump appearing in rap songs, along with your “people haven’t met him” comment this secondary element leads me to conclude this is the Cadbury’s fruit and nut of recent posts on this thread.

Considering you criticize myself and others for not focusing enough on Trump’s policies, I guess you are guilty of that aswell.

Comparing Trump to Idi Amin or Pol Pot is idiotic.

The point about the rappers (which you missed) is that Trump is only a racist because the Democrat media shout it from the rooftops, when he clearly isn't. Using skin colour to win votes which is sick.

I'm focusing on the hate you have inside you. When you have to rant on an internet message board about someone you have never met and whose actions have likely never impacted you personally. I have no personal hatred to any politician even though if I disagree with their policies. Where does it end? Democrats like Maxine Waters calling on her supporters to publicly confront and harass members of the Trump administration and its supporters.

Of course, all the fruitcakes ONLY exist on the Trump side... I always find it funny when someone can have so much hate for a person they have never met. Just for wearing a GOP badge.

As I have said many times I don't hate Trump. I feel sorry for anyone like him. What I hate is the ignorance and approach of those who believe he is somehow good for their country. I certainly don't hate him for "wearing a GOP badge". He is no more a true Republican than my dog. I hate the way that the GOP hierarchy has buckled to him and wish they would stand up for their very honourable values.

Trump was mentioned at least 318 times in rap lyrics between 1989 and 2016. Then he became a racist the day he became a Republican nominee, how odd!

What an odd thing to say! I have no interest in rap so wouldn't know if that were true or why if it was. Whatever the reason makes no difference. He is what he is. Racist? No more than many others and certainly not his primary weakness.

That's both cynical and wrong. Most politicians do a difficult job to the best of their ability, which is some cases is fairly limited. I just don't believe this "they are all the same" idea is the least bit true. They differ in approach but most are sincere, whilst some are chancers.

That seems a pretty dumb reason to approve of who-ever holds the position of leader of the free world.

Perhaps not but the world does need politicians.

No it isn't. It's beyond stupid, it's downright dangerous. We need experienced, trained and accomplished politicians. Many are lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and learned diplomacy. Both are essential in politics and completely absent in Trump. Choosing someone like Trump to become POTUS is like asking a butcher with an overdose of bs to perform brain surgery.

In politics, you very often vote against something rather than for something. Trump is an example of that.

He also exposes a certain group of people for the arrogant hypocrites that they really are.

Why do we need trained politicians?

The career politician doesn't know how to run a picnic let alone a country.

You sound like there's just a touch of personal dislike for Trump as a person creeping into your wider view...

At no time have you stopped to ask: Why?

Trump is a complete rejection of main stream politics. He's going to walk 2020 because instead of asking why, the left just try to sling mud and carry on as before.

Why? You really think that it isn't important for any professional to be trained and know what they are doing? Would you let Donald Trump fly you across the Atlantic just because he said he was the best pilot ever?

Oh I dislike him a lot. I can though dislike people, particularly because of their political views, but nevertheless respect and trust them. My objections to Trump are not based on my dislike. They are entirely based upon his unsuitability for the job.

He certainly won't walk 2020 but whether he gets a second term very much depends upon the team that the Democrats put forward alongside how much more is made public knowledge of Trump's past behaviour. My own expectation is that the Dems will find a winning combination simply because they know that's what their country needs right now and they will put personal ambitions to the side to be resurrected during the next cycle. I then expect Trump to be indicted and convicted by a State Court, probably in New York, partly based on evidence uncovered by Mueller and passed on to them for action. Mud slinging is only possible when there is mud to sling.

You're basing that entirely non your own hopes.
The democratic party hasn't once addressed "why trump?"
It wasn't all due to rabble rousing and populism (hate that term).

He's also worked to deliver campaign promises and the figures don't lie. On his watch the economy and jobs are up.

Politicians aren't famed for setting aside their own personal ambitions so don't hold your breath.

As the last 3 years have been about defaming, slinging dirt and calling Trump voters idiots, I don't share your optimism for a victory in 2020. The root cause of why people didn't vote democrat still exists and human nature precludes anyone from ever doing what you want because you insulted them: when was the last time you changed your stance because someone told you that you were an idiot?

The MSM plays into Trump's hands at every turn. The more they slander him the stronger he gets.

You dont get it, Hrolf.

You think every politician lies 100s of times a week? You think every politician insulted and mocked his way to the top? You think every politician is a crooked, cheating fraud? You think every politician is a criminal?

Sure, there aren't many who are straight as arrows but Trump is the least honest, least honorable and least intelligent president ever.

If your goal in life is to antagonize others, I feel sorry for you.
