I think the US system is subject to fraud with mail in ballots.

However, Trump had a long time to work on that once it became clear that mail in votes were going to be used.

In fact Trump had years to work on many things....but he choose waffle rather than action.

The social media companies for example, he had years to deal with their overt bias and censoring of republicans.....Yet he did nothing.

And come the election you have the sheer incredible sight of Twitter censoring a president's tweets.....Social media companies running direct election interference on stories over Biden's son before the election.....the stuff that was on that hard drive was very damaging....all clamped down on.

Quite incredible.

Feck it...the system wanted Trump out and the republicans can feel warranted in believing that....whether or not the details are correct is kind of mute when the bigger picture is true.

I see your point about trump not acting but the cynic in me thinks he knew from day one he was gone next time by foul means. Closing down media, changing voting rules would all have been seen as spoiling tactics which would have put him in the crosshairs for doing potentially what the dems and left have done. Nope I'm sure out of office which given time restraints may happen, as and when this is proved to be a dodgy election, he can do more damage to the left and the left media than ever in office. The truth will out and if not in the next couple of months then a year or so. Once biden or harris start eating the people who helped this happen they will be outed by those very people. Anyone involved would; if they're not stupid have kept an element of evidence for self preservation. There may be a lot of brake pipes needed in the future!

I hear Tulsi Gabbard has tweeted to Trump asking him to pardon Assange and Snowden before he leaves.

I think he should....would be spicy to say the least.

The Democrats seemed to do just fine believing in conspiracy theories for years.

What conspiracy theories do you think the Democrats believe it?

It's not that Russian interference in the 2016 election as that has been confirmed by all the US security services. Mueller's report resulted in several prosecutions but couldn't touch Trump because Barr stopped it. Once he leaves office the actions will start again and you can expect to see him indicted for obstruction of justice as a bare minimum.

It cannot be his impeachment, which was a political act and not a legal one. There was though plenty of evidence from a variety of credible witnesses during the hearings which proceeded it.

So what are these conspiracy theories?

Trump on the other hand has a long history of promoting conspiracy theories to wind up his base to his advantage. Look no further than the "birther" theory for that.

Wait a minute. You mean if. If this is proved (proven) to be a dodgy election (mass voting fraud).

You can't have a go at others saying 'well it sounds like you won't accept it if it's true' then literally do the same thing. To your point, it doesn't sound like you're leaving any room for it to be false in the above statement? Surely for your own sanity and general credibility you have to have some objectivity even if you are so heavily invested in a belief – although clearly religious people don't and a lot of people on here are clearly very politically religious.

Again, for the record, I totally would accept it if the evidence is there supporting vote rigging, voter fraud, collusion – and it is proven in the courts – how could you not? It would be one of the greatest scandals ever. I would also expect the thousands, in not tens of thousands of people involved in this cover up to be jailed. As we all know voting fraud carries very heavy penalties in the states.

As with most things in life in order to stay sane the best path is the objective, scientific one. I've never understood some peoples reticence to evolve or challenge their opinions based on actual, hard proof, high probability and facts, always ready for them to change. Opinions should always be in a state of flux, not cast in stone forevermore. That path in extreme cases leads to social isolation and a whole lot worse. But then I've never been religious so...

Russian and Chinese interference in elections isn't new with Trump. However the extent of it was exaggerated significantly by the Democrats....going so far as to suggest that Russian trolls posting memes and lies on Facebook altered the election...article after article magnifying utter waffle to their base.

However, the real kicker that the Democrats did was deliberately keep the Trump administration busy with alleging that Trump colluded with Putin to rig the 2016 election....they did this for years...lying to their base using their near total media. They convinced them that the dodgy dossier was true even when it was proven inaccurate.

You yourself wrote post upon post alleging that Trump was guilty of collusion, telling us he was going to jail when the Mulluer report came out.....then blaming Barr for saving him.

It seems you are fine with lawyers when they agree with you but when they don't....(whereas I accept that lawyers 'interpret' whatever their political masters wish...as we are seeing now with election fraud)

The Democrats did nothing but lie for the entire Trump administration and then they had the gall to point at Trump.

They complain about election interference and then sit back and smile as social media companies directly interfered in this very election.....closing down stories in favour of their candidate.

They are liars and fraudsters just as in bed with the corporations as Trump ever was with the difference that they present themselves as self righteous and moral.

The party of Epstein and Weinstein....the party that encourages the placing of children into sex change clinics.

The Democrats are ruinous.....and in my view many Biden voters in the rust belt who transferred their vote to him will be learning buyers' remorse pretty quickly.

I did add the caveat of time constraints in an earlier post I think.

I think you're right about the rust belt. But those people are screwed either way. Trump was simply attempting to hold back the tide, and in some cases not even bothering (see coal plant closures). The only thing left for them is universal income. And I can't see that happening anytime soon.

Trump did significant work in bringing back manufacturing jobs and while long term I agree with you....In the short term the US always had the power to play hardball with outsourcing....which to be fair to Trump he did play hardball.... that's what a US president should be doing.

Biden is a globalist....so essentially the US working class and indeed, lower middle class are going to be fecked over as he puts back all of Obama's bad deals.

But of course....he'll stand up for people's rights to use personalised pronouns and nod and smile a lot....as they struggle to put bread on the table.

I think UBI is a fair way off yet....unlike what the 'great reset' guys believe.

However I could be wrong of course.....and as I'm pretty down about the future it's far better if I am.

If it is so important for Trump to challenge "fraud" states where the results favoured Biden in true democratic fashion he should recount the fraud votes in states where Trump won!

Perhaps irony does not exist.

I have little doubt that if Trump gets mail in ballots overturned at the Supreme court that this is one of the actions that the Democrats will be doing.

Maybe because it DID alter the election. Just as it altered the Brexit vote! There was no exaggeration, except in the minds of those who seek to present "alternative facts". The security services, both here and in the USA have reported it, but the politicians have failed to act. We still haven't seen the report that was suppressed by Johnson.

However, the real kicker that the Democrats did was deliberately keep the Trump administration busy with alleging that Trump colluded with Putin to rig the 2016 election....they did this for years...lying to their base using their near total media. They convinced them that the dodgy dossier was true even when it was proven inaccurate.

Using dodgy epithets to describe a well researched and accurate report is what Trump does. Whether Trump was ever going to be proven guilty of collusion, given the arms-length, plausible deniability, mob moss tactics that Trump employs, was always doubtful. He has got away with loads for years. That he obstructed the enquiry and will ultimately be charged over that seems much more likely.

You yourself wrote post upon post alleging that Trump was guilty of collusion, telling us he was going to jail when the Mulluer report came out.....then blaming Barr for saving him.

He will, hopefully, go to jail. Whether for collusion, obstruction of justice or State level financial crime isn't yet known.

It seems you are fine with lawyers when they agree with you but when they don't....(whereas I accept that lawyers 'interpret' whatever their political masters wish...as we are seeing now with election fraud)

I am fine with all honest lawyers following the law for the public good.

The Democrats did nothing but lie for the entire Trump administration and then they had the gall to point at Trump.

The party of Epstein and Weinstein....the party that encourages the placing of children into sex change clinics.

That's all bs worthy of a Trump-supporting conspiracy theory site.

The Democrats are ruinous.....and in my view many Biden voters in the rust belt who transferred their vote to him will be learning buyers' remorse pretty quickly.

The jobs that will be lost there were always going to be lost. The evolution of the way we meet our energy needs means that's inevitable. Just as our own coal mines closed. I bet you didn't support Scargill back then! It's how to regenerate the areas that suffer that's important and I can see the Democrats having a better approach than simply standing back and letting the market take care.
