Todays first download isn't a bootleg - but it is a live album. This is ABWH (Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, Howe) - all members of Yes - either past or present. This show was recorded in 1993 and sounds great. I thought I'd posted this one in the past - but a check in my files didn't show it anywhere, but I have posted a few albums/bootlegs by ABWH in the past. This is great stuff, and if you like Yes, then this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by the Rossington Collins Band that was recorded at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee in 1980. This is in superb quality - a great sounding set. The Rossington Collins band consist primarily of the two guitarists from the band Lynyrd Skynyrd - they both survived the plane crash that killed other members of the band including lead singer Ronnie Van Zant. They play their own version of the Skynyrd classic Free Bird - as an instrumental, as a tribute to RVZ. They later both helped out with the reformed Lynyrd Skynyrd band. If you like a bit of southern rock - Skynyrd style, then this is throughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by the legendary James Brown that was recorded in Kinshasa, Zaire in 1974. This is in superb quality for a bootleg thats nearly 40 years old and JB performs a wicked set. I've only posted a few bootlegs by JB so it's about time I posted some more.. starting with this one - which is called "The Godfather Goes To Africa"... Todays first download is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - and I was really surprised at that. This is UB40 and a set they played at the Pinkpop Festival in Geleen, Netherlands 1981. This is in superb quality and sounds great - the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast. The stereo on this is fantastic and it's a wicked set. This is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by ZZTop. This is a show that the beards did in Paris, France in 2002 and it is in superb quality. Some classic ZZ tracks on this one with crackin' versions of "Gimme All Your Lovin'", "Sharp Dressed Man" and Ending with "Tush". These guys have been around for a long time and know how to put on a show... and this one rocks - big time...
