Perhaps I agree with your reply, but maybe I don"t, the spirit is ok, but you stating we will be a" powerful "version of anything is laughable! I will run posts past you if thats ok to gain your approval- we don"t want to upset the cap doffers do we- lets all forget the corruption these CONS have done and are doing to the country- lets move on, wipe the slate clean- give them a chance, call it day one of the CON gov, theyre doing their best!
Aren't you in Ireland yet?.....I bet they can't wait for it.

Grant Shapps is on the left of the party like Hunt and was a remainer. The Tories didn't get a 80 seat majority to have a remainer PM, remainer chancellor and a remainer Home secretary.....you might as well have the WEF make the appointments. The Tories are literally writing their own suicide note with their own supporters here.....I almost can't quite believe the levels of incompetence I'm seeing.

Unless of course they are starting to recognise the economic impact of Brexit and realise they need to take some actions to try and mitigate it? Something like 4% of GDP was a number I heard recently or £100bn pa. By the way, a very good FT podcast on exactly that issue from a couple of days ago - well worth a listen.

Yep, it's like being in a sinking boat and hoping for a rescue but then see the only boat turning up is full of Keystone cops with the captain, with his shoes on the wrong feet, not sure who should be rescued first as he doesn't know who the women are. When this comedy is just coming to an end? That would be like leaving the cup final on 85 mins just as we score the winning goal!Is it true the baccy chewers in Mississippi back in the 30"s put you in a time machine as you were to extreame even for them there boyz?

If we were in the EU right now they would be expecting us to give a percentage of our gas up. Inflation here is around the middle in the EU zone.....Debt levels in the EU are terrible and Germany has just practically de-industrialised itself and the left are still going on about the 2016 Brexit vote. People who actually care about the truth can see that things have been pear shaped since the financial disaster of 2008 and the debt realities that enforced.......then what's fecked and accelerated everything has been the economic reactions to covid (which most supported) and the sanctions over the Ukraine war (which most supported). What seems to be the case to me is that if the talking head on the telly can put something in virtue signalling terms people will pretty much nod along to anything.....I suppose it's why most disasters happen in the first place....people overly trust and always think things are going to get better...or that if it goes wrong it's never them who get stiffed.
