Isn't protection of (potential) victims the first priority ? justice is a long way from these starter points ^^ Or am i just being too sensitive ? Edited by Forest Hillbilly (09 Mar 2020 8.01am)

Oh she absolutely was being sexually assaulted!! The pervert touched/squeezed her bum, how in the hell is that not sexual assault. Its not like he grabbed her arm is it, he touched/squeezed her BUM.....a little girl.. List of sexual offences Alex Salmond is charged with. Some are on the very serious scale whilst other are the touching variety and yet they are considered sexual assault so I agree with you.

Observing Ash Sarkar on twitter and video at the moment is quite amusing in of itself. Suddenly she's all for racial jokes....but seemingly only when she, or those she likes says it.....Of course I do actually support her free speech on this. However she is, of course, a huge hypocrite....which is basically what most of the 'progressives' are. 'Identity politics for me, not for thee'.

When are then #metoo brigade going to stick up for these girls, seems like no one else is aloud too. Edited by dannyboy1978 (09 Mar 2020 6.38am) Yes folks, it's official - Trevor Phillips is some sort of islamophobe/racist/whatever!!! It's like the French and Russian revolutions devouring their own children. Edited by georgenorman (09 Mar 2020 9.24am)

It is impossible to believe they did not know about what was going on. Official reports state that files disappeared from supposedly secure locations along with an entire web of links between Labour councillors and the abusers. Labour allowed this abuse to continue for decades, and would happily allow it to continue even now, in exchange for the Muslim block vote.

If sexual assault isn't 'being touched inappropriately' what the hell is it? She went and told her father that this man had squeezed her bum....Even if this wasn't a child this is outrageous and if the event happened this was a pervert and he got what he deserved. What he did was low level sexual assault on a minor. Truly incredible. Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Mar 2020 3.27am) I am the person that knows the difference between tenses.

Well Weinstein touched a ladies bum and got done for sexual assault so why would this not be? You missed my point I didn't say it wasn't sexual assault, albeit I can find no independent verification on what happened, I have no idea whether there was sexual intention if touching genuinely happened. My point was it wasn't ongoing when Yaxley-Lennon attacked the man in question. However, if you are happy for him to be judge and jury in this instance, and the Courts agree with you, then he will be able to establish mitigation when the inevitable conviction comes.

To be clear. She wasn’t being sexually assaulted. She may have been touched inappropriately before Yaxley Lennon sought out and attacked someone is this what you mean when you say 'I didnt say she wasnt being sexually assaulted'??

is this what you mean when you say 'I didnt say she wasnt being sexually assaulted'?? Once more for the hard of thinking She wasn't BEING - get it? BEING - sexually assaulted. After the daughter told Mr Yaxley-Lennon that something happened he then went and apparently attacked the accused perpetrator. So it appears something happened BEFORE Mr Yaxley-Lennon sought out this chap but it also appears to be hearsay exactly what. That may or may not have been sexual assault On the basis that the Police attended and no charges were proposed other than Mr Yaxley-Lennon's assault, presumably their view was either that sexual assault did not take place or that it was impossible to prove. I am reminded of the accusations made against Palace fans in Hull. An accusation is not always accurate. I am sure that Mr Yaxley-Lennon beating the cr*p out of someone was a great way to help this young girl cope with something that Mr Yaxley-Lennon appears to think was quite traumatising for her.
