Fair enough and why shouldn't anyone be allowed to feel that way? But the day when very, very senior independent judges are considered as "enemies of the people" (not by you HH, I'm of course talking about the Mail) is a day when those looking to exert more control over our freedoms get that much closer to achieving their goals. The (true) story about the UK-based Libyans with extremist links being given a free pass by the UK shows in some ways that our government actually can choose who comes in and out of the country, when it REALLY suits them. It really highlights politician's attitude toward public safety and is no surprise to me. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (26 May 2017 7.59pm)

The Tories are losing it. They couldn't specify anything wrong in Corbyn's speech so they described it as crass and ill timed. When they were watching it live looking for something concrete to attack they could only have been thinking, 's*** he's nailed it, and us'.

The party still has plenty of Blairites. And thankfully the new bloke is marginalising them. That's why his party has got my vote for the first time ever. Edited by Mr_Gristle (26 May 2017 9.10pm)

Contrast with the Tories, whose whole strategy for this and the last election is based on why you should be scared to vote for anyone else. Edited by Mr_Gristle (26 May 2017 9.13pm)

As in putting aside bias (hard for both of us) and seriously believing what you've just said really? Fully costed promises that are 100% in line with the main body of the party membership's views are hollow? Blimey. I'll just leave it at that.
