Would never want us to be a Chelsea/Man City. There’s a charm to supporting a club like Palace. Glory hunters will never understand it. Daft comment of the week I have supported Palace for close on 50 years and I'd love us to be successful and play attractive football and win things. I'd love to see the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Saleh and Jordan Henderson playing and scoring for us rather than battering the hell out of us for their current team. I fail to see how that makes me or anyone else who feels the same a glory hunter

Perhaps you are a glory hunter

The charm and attraction of the club is that it is largely funded through its fans and its own success. It's our club and not a billionaire play thing. When the money generated by fans stops becoming the basis of a clubs operations, the club dies.

It almost made up for losing the Cup Final. Almost. It was probably our best season and some reward for our achievements in the context of being banned from Europe.

I think TV money dictates all these days, certainly in the Premier League.

Nothing wrong with his opinion or yours or indeed most others as it was the addendum that anyone that didn't agree with him was a glory hunter that I objected to.
