So what?

I am a football fan. I don't want to sell our best players.

Another season and 30 million is fine with me,

And if that’s fine by Parish, Dougie, etc, it’s fine for me to. If they refuse to sell its a sure sign the club means business on the pitch , no longer happy to be considered a club with no choice , as seems to be the attitude of the top line clubs ,and some on here.

I think any more new signings depend on Marc leaving

Our key players are, Anderen, Eze, Wharton, Mateta and Muñoz, make sure they are happy with their contracts, and refuse all offers, the rest of the players are Superfluous, all replaceable without much hassle

But with one year left on his contract its 25/30 not 55/60

unlikely for a player of his quality. Liverpool will be looking for a VVD replacement, ManUre will need centre backs, we'd still get a handsome fee in a year's time. Those clubs can afford not to wait until his contract expires

No, you are right, but letting a young player get to the last year of his contract is like Russian Roulette, with his agent saying in his ear, the transfer fee will go to you, and not the club.

To avoid further disappointment maybe you need to find another football club to support. This is the Palace way and of course we have been in administration twice in the last 25 years.

Ooooh! Do you think?

You obviously still have a small club mentality, along with some of the others on here.

No. This club needs to recognise that its best way forward is to be great on the pitch. That is what ultimately generates money.

Selling a top player for big money will result in reinvesting it in players who are likely to be worse, or seeing it disappear into someone's pocket.

Whether selling Guehi in particular will make a big impact on our performance is debatable, but it is about the message we send out to other clubs, fans and prospective signings.

If we are ambitious, then we have to look like it.

You are Obviously not Business minded, and i suspect a couple of years with you at the helm, would rapidly send us hurtling to a third administration

Whatever we get, if sold, is minus the 25% sell on clause owing to Chelsea when we bought him for £18 million.

So, if he goes for £60 million we make a net profit of £27 million.

Enough to finance a couple of promising youngsters from Europe or the Championship.

Replacing Olise is the more urgent problem right now.

You talk like you know the club accounts.

This club is under no pressure to sell. We just made 55 million on Olise.

I don't know what business you are in, but I've been retired since I was 47. I don't think with a narrow view. I see the bigger picture.
There is no future in selling players unless you can attract ones of the same calibre.

City can do that. Liverpool can do that. Real Madrid can do that.

Do you think we can do that?

27 million for an emerging England international wanted by the big clubs that we got for a bargain price.

Doesn't sound so great does it.

Where did you obtain the sell on percentage, I don’t believe it exists.

You can’t replace Olise like for like, but Kamala and Sarr brought in for that position.
