The accommodation provided for seasonal workers in the UK would be regarded as the Ritz by those I am talking about! Who live many thousands of miles from here.

So, nothing to with us in the UK…

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

If any landlord tried to provide such accommodation here they would not last long.

Ever been to one of the numerous ‘sheds’ in the back gardens of East London terraced houses?

I do. I learned a great deal about how people from other cultures cope with adversity and can live happy lives whilst having very little by way of personal possessions. I have known people who live in spaces smaller than most of our garden sheds. No windows, sleep on the floor, no running water, cooking over twigs outside, bathing in the river, toileting in the woods. Whose primary task every day was to find enough food. But happy.

You might claim some enrichment but they're not getting any and it's relevance to what's happening in London is zero.

France won't be boring that's for sure....all manner of messed up because of the horse trading to stop the natural course of democracy but I guess that's to be laid at the feet of Macron.

People who don’t respect the traditions of their parliamentary processes shouldn’t be in politics. The democratic process got both sides their reward of a place in parliament and to me it shows that power is all they crave rather than a duty to work for the electorate.

The Swiss model of referendums on political decisions may be the way forward, although some would cherry pick which ones they agree with. Or want another one until they got their choice over. You know, a bit like brexit

I suggest you send these ideas to Mr D Trump.

I understand your point but I am not sure that it is the same. I am unaware that Trump has refused to shake hands or acknowledge all of his opponents. You may not approve of his existence but he is the Republican candidate. When, or if, he wins, I am not sure that we will see him disrespect fellow presidents in a similar way. I may be wrong and he may tell them to get off of the stage.
The French left block have effectively offended the 37% who voted for Le Pen; that's a big amount of people to dismiss; similar to when Hilary declared people who supported Trump as being deplorables. Didn't do her much good.
