Same. I thought when he came on against Wales our pressing game looked much better. I like him up there but Kane will always start bad form or not. Hopefully he can put one away today to get a bit of confidence back. Even when off form he is still the only must play for me. Good captain, draws defence, buys free kicks exactly where we want them, holds up better than anyone.

I'm already irrationality annoyed at the selection, which hasn't even been announced.

Yes he's still first choice striker for me to...but not quite as nailed on as previous years. But like you say the there's other aspects to his game which is important to the team... sounds like the English Jordan Ayew haha

I notice that so far no one has indicated that they think Poland will beat France today - kind of wishful thinking I guess

And that handball from Theirry Henry was only one of many dodgy decisions. France will win, by hook or by crook. Poland could have scored a couple, so could France.

A random comment but anyone else listen to Pochettino there? Was it just me or does he sound as though he can barely speak English if at all and/or as though he has a very poor understanding on football? I honestly would have expected the opposite for both so a bit strange!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I honestly would have expected the opposite for both so a bit strange! He's overly technical when he speaks in football jargon and broken English, he's not the easiest to understand. As a manager in England wouldn't be that much of a hindrance as he can probably speak the language of half of the players anyway.
