It’s ridiculous to expect £5 to materialise out of thin air as the prize for a non-existent competition. It’s also quite amusing.

Where, I wonder, does that leave you?

Presumably as someone who's heard of Lobby Lud and his place in British cultural history?

Hearing of him and there being a competition to find him, aren’t the same thing.

Actually they are since that was his entire raison d'etre.
Anyway there was me thinking HK was making a numerous throwaway comment.

5 weeks she’s been the PM. The financial situation is world wide.

Yes, it is, but ours is worse, which is a good reason not to make our already bad position dire by taking stupid decisions.

Doesn’t matter if it's 50 weeks, her mini-budget was days into her tenure and was irresponsible.

I can't believe you aren't affected detrimentally in some way as a direct result of it. You can make excuses for her lack of experience but not for her blatant disregard of advice. She hasn’t any mandate from the nation to do what she's done. 81,000 people do not represent our electorate of 40 million voters.

If you want to f**k with our economy lady have an election first!
