I thought we were going down this season after last and I’m sadly still not ruling it out. Fulham may not be getting wins at the moment but they are better than us now. Let’s hope we get a few points between now and the end of the season otherwise we will get dragged down there. Still say we need a midfield 3 in the middle with two either side of them. Reason being the defence is so poor and the two in the middle of midfield aren’t good enough to protect the back 4 and help the forwards out. Why have we changed our system with such an old team to try and play more attack minded when we have an ageing midfield and defence? The forwards get no decent passes and if they do get it the opponents have got back into position. Then we lose the ball and those ageing midfielders can’t get back to help the defence - grrrr! Nor me. Edited by Willo (08 Feb 2021 10.31pm)

This felt similar to the Villa game. Any team who move the ball at speed and with control make the defence and midfield look like the monoliths we are.

Tonight was to be expected, just have a quick look at the injury list in regard to the midfield and defence. Leeds on their day are a good side no denying that. That’s right Gerry, 9 first team players out at the moment and counting. Our bench was down to the bare bones tonight and Leeds are a good side and are good to watch. That pitch, I think the FA and the Premiership need to look at it. After the game Patrick Bamford said “ we prefer to play away games these days and I needed to stick rugby boot studs in to stay on my feet”

There’s stats for everything. If you don’t believe Wilf has the biggest contribution to this team I don’t know what to say to you. We would be relegated without Wilf without question. Here’s another stat for you.. lost 19 of the last 21 without Wilf in the team.

The tactics were all wrong. Leeds are a very fit team and mark man for man and play a high line to squeeze space. This is not something that RH has time for but it worked for Leeds tonight. We needed to be very accurate with passing and one touch passes before being closed down. Also we needed to be flexible and squeeze space where necessary. Even though we were 2 down we stuck to a holding line of four allowing Leed’s defence to run the clock down. Because they play a high line we should have been looking to play the ball over the top for Mateta. I don’t know whether he has the pace to exploit this but we never found out. Towards the end of the game we did do this and it set up a good chance for Eze.

How the hell do you put a performance like that into context. Yet another total embarrassment, and it is plainly obvious that this football team cannot function without Zaha no wonder he wants out. , Leeds had more knowledge better attitude a desire to win. That in my eyes comes from a manager and players who wants to win, not that it took much effort to beat us again. How long is this club and I mean the board of directors the chairman going to kid itself that this club is moving forward under Hodgson, Hodgson is as stale as it comes.

I've just noticed that 6 Leeds players had more touches of the ball than Luka and Riedewald added together. No midfield - defence is under pressure and will buckle. No midfield - no service to the strikers,so no goals. It's not rocket science Roy, where is our midfield???
