It's the usual story. Probably no one in until 48-72 hours before deadline day. The squad is significantly weaker when you consider current injuries. Expect another slow start. No future plan, no chance for players to bed in. I'm one of those that thinks that this is looking like the year that it could go wrong.

I think we've been patient Dazza. None of the names you've mentioned inspire much confidence either. Newcastle are on the verge of announcing Joelinton apparently, we've been waiting 5 or 6 windows for an announcement like that and they've only just brought in a new manager! 1 goal every 4 games in the Austrian League, that's a massive risk for 20+ million... but, I get the gist of your message

Even if we do actually bring in some signings, I think if we start the season badly, Parish and Dougie are gonna get some much deserved stick. I wonder how Steve, I'm a Palace fan like you, Parish will take it? Let's be honest, he's brought this on himself with poor financial decisions....and the pointless Americans.

Totally agree however dont forget the great plans to originally move to Crystal Palace Sports centre ( bulls***) followed by the amazing plans to re develope Selhurst ( Bulls***) and all the american money invested ( Bulls***) apart from some very expensive white cladding. However we have no money to spend ( Bulls***) just sold.AWB for 50 million. As you may guess im calling bulls***

16 days to go and same old story...if we go down this season we’ve only got ourselves to blame. 6 seasons in the PL and we still don’t seem to have a Danny in the transfer window...fvcking mugging ourselves up.

He sanctioned the players we have bought along with their wages. So it was his choice. Now to moan that wages are to high therefore we cant spend any money and have to sell to survive.

(For those not familiar with the fairy-tale of the Grimm Brothers: Hans in Luck started dealing a horse and ended up with a stone after several swaps.) Or maybe some Clubs in Europe just add a zero at the end of their asking prices as soon as PL-Club is calling.
