We played bloody well tonight, but I blame the loss on Woy tonight, we needed subs to cum on to help us, and to give the players a rest bite.

Woy is expecting to much from the lads without making substitution Woy is taking a big risk with more injuries.

I'm not sure Roy is into that sort of thing. He's pretty old school.

Top quality save from de Gea late on, goal of weekend 3 minutes from time to steal the points.

Awesome performance from everyone tonight, i was impressed with CB, the amount he put himself about tonight. Sorloth is extremely strong on the ball, and deceptively fast acceleration.
AWB had a good first game, but as people said got out of position, tonight he impressed pretty much everyone me thinks.

As to bringing on a sub to shore things up, who was on the bench, Jach not played a minute of PL yet, not going to blood him in that situation are you ? same goes for Rakip, but your not going to play him defensively. Delaney ? chung ? Souare ?
No, unfortunately, the cavalry were not available.

Give the players a what now? I had the major hump but this has cheered me up a little.

I'm gutted, but at least it's because we did so much better than expected. Did so well with half a team, Wan-Bissaka was great again.

Keep the fight up COYP

Total agree with you. The game was won because they had subs of quality to bring on. Mata was the main reason they got the win. Didn’t help conceding the soft first goal with Tomkins playing two onside either? However he has been our best defender in recent times and that was just one mistake by him tonight, but costly. We had no one of quality on our bench and that made the difference. Any side in the top five are way ahead of those teams below them and we get to play four of them in five matches in a row :-(

It may have wrecked United's composure though. My main criticism of Roy has always been that he doesn't have enough of the bench masturbating furiously over the sidelines, I mean it's obvious when you think about it.

I thought we just switched off when we went 2 0 up, utd made perfect subs and Roy didn't react. Should've gone 451 after their first goal but be ended up taking sclupp off and putting Sorloth on the wing which didn't work at all.

Wan bissaka was brilliant, Hennessey needs to be dropped now. We can't expect to stay up with a keeper like him in goal. Can be explain the cross that went through his hands in the first half?

I think the right sub was made just 10mins too late. That was the obvious change for me and in my opinion would have made the difference... Although still think they would have equalised in the 90th min instead. Had we really still been hanging on then Souaré for Sørloth would have been my other to go ultra defensive. But as we've these things we will never know!

I was nt even disappointed walking home because I just thought any team who had just played as well as us will not be going down.
We were really good tonight and deserved something from the game.
It was Matic last minute thunderbolt that was so cruel for all of us.
I felt like I had just played myself,!!
What an atmosphere.
Best in UK when it’s like tonight.
Must have been 20,000 people singing for Palace.l Unreal
